Leanna's POV (short chapter)
"Can't you believe that we have been married for 5 years?" my mate asked me while she caressed my body as she run her hands down my sides. I nodded, "I can." I told her before she pressed her lips against mine happily. I started to feel a bit peckish for some red, so after our kiss I went to reach for my glass of human blood until Astrid grabbed it before me. I felt my fangs poke against my bottom lip as my eyes witnessed her drinking some of it.
She stopped drinking a few seconds later so I could drink it myself since it was actually mine. "All these years together and you still haven't got the sharing part right." she chuckled, giving me the glass carefully. I took it from her hand and placed my lips on the rim of it, tipping it so the redness could enter my mouth. My eyes were locked with Astrid's the entire time.
Once I was finished with it, I gave Astrid the empty glass. She placed it on the mini table beside the hot tub where Evie can take it away. She was probably busy with her mate, Delilah. They have been together for a few months now. "I love you, Leanna Walter." Astrid told me, "I love you too, Astrid Walter. Forever and ever until the world ends." I told her back. We then kissed once again, which eventually turned into a make out session.
We didn't want any kids because Astrid didn't want to scare them to death. Neither did I. The main thing is that we were both happy the way we were.
