Diandra's POV
I wait at my front door with a stretcher, two nurses and Dr. Montez. They said someone was shot. No names or and specifics as to if it was bad or not.
I'm glad Leo and Jack are sleep. They would be having a field day with this. My sons are turning into terrors but they haven't lost their childish spark.
Many would look down on me, considering I'm already training my eight year old sons. But I look at it like this; they will be capable of handling situations. Like the situations we were in before.
I know what the maids say behind my back. 'I'm killing their innocence.' But the world is nowhere near innocent. And I will raise my sons how I see fit. And when my daughter is born I will also raise her how I see fit.
Gender roles are blurred in this household. When I decided to take in the girls Diandra saved from Stephan Constello. I promised myself I will give each girl a training sessions.
My Leo is just like his father, mischievous and malicious. He's going to be one ruthless leader. Then there's my Jack, kind hearted like his mother, but can be cold hearted when he feels necessary.
The sound of tires screeching snaps me out of my revere. My eyes land on my husband and Jade pulling Antonio out the SUV. I let out a sigh of relief knowing Franco is safe.
But I immediately notice the look on Jade's face and I immediately begin to help.
"He has a GSW to the leg." Franco informs Dr. Montez, before laying Antonio down on the stretcher.
Antonio groans in pain. His eyes held anger and frustration and his face was becoming a dark shade of red.
"The bullet must've hit an artery. He's bleeding out a lot." Dr. Montez comments as he checks out the wrapped wound.
"I wrapped the wound." Jade says quickly and Dr. Montez nods as he checks Antonio's eyes.
"You did good, but I believe the bullet is still in his leg, and it hit the femoral artery." Dr. Montez says before nodding at the nurses, "We need to take him to surgery now." He says before rolling him inside the estate and towards the infirmary.
Jade was right behind him. Tunnel vision only on one person; Antonio. I inwardly smirk at her. Even though she denies any feelings towards him, she shows otherwise.
"You okay?" Franco asks wrapping his arms around me and I scoff.
"I should be asking you that. You're the one that went on a high risk mission." I say with a tad bit of jealousy.
"I'll take you sky diving after the baby." Franco says rolling his eyes and I smirk at him.
"Already did that." I reply before walking into our home with Franco in tow.
