Jade
I holt awake my eyes opening to pitch darkness. I squint my eyes trying make out where I am.
"They got us in a fucking semi-truck." I hear Iris grumble and I relax knowing that she's here.
"Where's Scarlett?" I ask immediately.
"I'm here." She says flatly.
I finally feel the zip ties on my wrist and I stare to feel myself freaking out. I. hate being restraint, I hate darkness, I hate being in situations like this.
Because it reminds me of him.
I feel myself slowly panic as I can't get out the zip ties. I continue to struggle as my breath becomes ragged.
"Breathe Jade." Iris and Scarlett say in unison and I immediately start breathing slowly.
Inhale...
Exhale...
I focus on my breathing for at least a minute giving up on the ties on my wrist.
"Did you guys get faces?" I ask and the silence was my answer.
"Damn." I mumble leaning my head back on the wall of the semi truck.
"We need to get out of here." Scarlett says.
"Let's figures how to get these ties off first." I chime in and I begin shuffling to where I heard the voices come from.
"I believe there's something sharp beside my foot. It feels like broken plastic pieces." Iris says before I hear her wince.
"Definitely sharp enough to cut through these ties." She adds on and Scarlett makes her way over to where Iris food lies.
"Got a piece." Scarlett mumbles before I hear shuffling over to me.
I'm glad they tied our ties behind our backs. They fucked up putting all of us in one moving vehicle. When Iris is silent like this she's blood thirsty. After all they did come in our home; the sirens den.
After ten minutes or so I'm finally free. I immediately start working on the girls. And it didn't take long for them to be free.
"I wonder how long we was out." I question standing up slowly.
"It seem like hours but depending on what they gave us we could've been out maybe a day or two." Scarlett answers and suddenly the truck comes to a complete stop.
I hear male voices and the sound of doors opening and closing. I grip the piece of plastic from earlier in my hand and Iris slowly stands.
"Whatever you do." I say.
"Don't stop fighting." Iris chimes in.
