Two Days Ago...
Iris
My bare feet race to the door as the emergency sirens blared. I had on nothing, but bra and panties but I didn't care.
This was my time to get out of this hell.
I yanked open the door greeted by complete chaos. Men race around the halls in two directions.
My feet halt, scared that I will be noticed and taken back.
"Iris." I hear Jade whisper shout from a secret closet door down the hall.
Her eyes are bloodshot red, and the large, dirty white shirt she wore was stained with blood. Hey hair was a mess and her skin was stained with dirt, but she had a determined look on her face.
"Let's go." She mouths her hand signaling for me.
I didn't second guess her at all; my feet ran towards her as my eyes stay locked on her vibrant blue ones.
Our hands locks together as she pulls me inside. She quickly closed the door back and slides a piece of wood in the handles.
I look around, not familiar with my surroundings, yet the smell is drastically familiar. My eyes land on Scarlett; her body is frail and she looked completely scared.
"Where are we?" I ask as Jade grabs a shotgun from a dark corner.
"It's a tunnel that leads us to freedom." She answers vaguely as she leads the way gripping the shotgun. Scarlett follows hugging herself.
"What's going on? How are you out of the room? Who blood is that!?" I ask still standing in the same spot.
She turns around her eyes lock onto mine, "I shot Romano in the chest. His fucking goons are searching for me. I shot the alarm system in his room and all the rooms unlocked themselves." She answers her face void of emotions, as blood drained from mine.
"They're going to kill us." I whisper shocked at her bold actions.
Jade sighs, "They could kill us; unless we move now. My mind and body forced itself to grow accustom to this shitty life i was forced into. But that was before that bastard decided he wanted me to breed his fucking devil spawns. I refuse to do that; I don't want any ties to that monster. So I am taking my damn freedom back. Are you coming? We don't have much time."
I nod not being able to speak. Shock ran through me as she told me about the baby growing in her.
She didn't say anything before walking down the old tunnel. I follow her fast paced steps quietly.
"Wait! What about the other girls!?" Scarlett ask as we three began to take off running.
"If they're smart they will get a gun and run too; and fast." Jade answers as Scarlett clamps her mouth shut silently agreeing.
