As the new day shines it's first ray, many people enter Vale to fulfil their destiny. But apart from that, the 'From Dust Till Dawn' shop has reopened, after the robbery done by Torchwick. The owner was just done with putting up the poster of the reopening, as he goes down the stairs but falls. The only person close to him, was a girl with mint-green hair and tan skin.
" 'Scuse me, sorry. I'm not really from around here. *She helps him up* Umm, would you mind pointing me in the direction of this shop?" The girl says, showing the store owner an address of a shop.
"Hmm? *Nods* Mm-hmm." The store owner gives her the direction as she leaves.
The girl waves goodbye at the store owner before turning the corner where a guy with grey hair was leaning on the wall.
"I knew you were lost." The grey haired guy says with his arms crossed.
"Mercury, I will seriously pay you to shut up." The girl says to Mercury, as she waves a wallet with Lien in front of his face.
"That's not your money." Mercury says, shaking his head.
"But it could be yours for five minutes of silence." The girl says to Mercury.
"Mmmm...no deal." Mercury says, shaking his head.
"Fine." The girl says as she takes the Lien out of the wallet and throws the wallet to the ground.
"Whatever. You want me." Mercury says as he follows the girl.
They keep on walking down the busy roads of Vale. Making haste to the shop that they need to go.
"So how much farther?" Mercury asks the girl.
"A few blocks." The girl answers.
"Ugh...This place is so dull." Mercury says, bored of the continuous walking.
"Eh, I kinda like it. Tall buildings, diverse culture..." The girl says.
"And nice dopey people who are easy to pickpocket." Mercury says, making the girl stop.
"That's every city." The girl says, as Mercury turns around and puts his hands in the air.
"*Playing as the victim* Ooh, Emerald! Master thief! Please don't take my money! I barely have enough to get by!" Mercury jokes, making Emerald groan and walk away.
"Ugh...You're no fun today." Mercury says as he follows Emerald once again.
After walking for a little longer, the two enter a store full of books. And they can hear the owner of this store humming a tune in the back. Emerald walks over to the desk and rings the bell, alerting the owner.
"Be right there!*The owner walks out from the back, carrying two stacks of books* Welcome to 'Tukson's Book Trade' home to every book under the sun!*Tukson places the books on the desk before looking back to Emerald* How may I...*He hesitates a second because of recognizing them* How may I help you?" Tukson asks the two.
"Just browsing." Mercury says with a book in his hand.
"Actually, I was wondering, do you have any copies of 'The Thief and The Butcher' ?" Mercury ask Tukson, leaning onto the desk.
"Yes we do." Tukson replies.
"That's great!" Emerald replies with excitement, but mostly sarcasm.
"Would you...like a copy?" Tukson asks Emerald.
"No, just wondering.*Mercury closes another book loudly* Oh, oh! What about "Violet's Garden"? In paperback?" Emerald asks Tukson.
"He's got it. Hardback too." Mercury says as he shows the book.
