The boy from the farm, Oscar Pine, was sitting on his bed while reading a book. He had a lantern to his side to be able to see the book.

"Oscar, supper's almost ready!" Oscar's aunt yells from another room.

"What're we having?" Oscar asks.

"Doesn't matter! You're eating it!" Oscar's aunt says.

"I never agreed to these terms!" Oscars says, jokingly.

"It's part of the "living under my roof" contract! Read the fine print, then come wash up!" Oscar's aunt says.

Oscar closes his book and stands up from the bed as he walks over to the door, but he paused when he heard a voice call out to him.

"We have to leave." Ozpin's voice says to Oscar in his head.

Oscar ignores it and goes to keep moving.

"Oscar. Oscar!" Ozpin's voice calls out as Oscar goes to grab the door handle, but he stops.

"I've decided you're not real, so you might as well just give up." Oscar says.

"I understand how you're feeling. I went through the same panic and confusion." Ozpin says to Oscar.

Oscar turns around as he sees an open book on the floor, so he goes to it and crouches down while grabbing it.

"It's not real. It's not real. It's not real." Oscar says while shutting the book and putting it in the shelf with the book he was reading before.

Oscar stands up and sees his reflection on a window.

"I can assure you, you are perfectly sane." Ozpin says to Oscar.

"I'm talking to a voice in my head." Oscar says.

"I didn't say you were normal. I said you were sane." Ozpin says as Oscar begins leave the room.

"There's quite a significant difference between-" Ozpin says, but he is interrupted by Oscar.

"Shut up! You think this is funny? It's not." Oscar says, angry at the voice in his head.

"We are in complete agreement on that matter, I promise you. Believe me, I wish this weren't the case. But as I've told you, our Aura, our souls are combined." Ozpin says to Oscar.

"I'm done listening to you." Oscar says showing his clear disgust.

"Have you ever been to Haven?" Ozpin asks Oscar.

"I told you I'm not going, and I told you I'm done listening." Oscar says.

"Do you think you could describe the Headmaster's office?" Ozpin asks Oscar.

"No. Why would I know that? I've never seen-" Oscar says, but he's interrupted by Ozpin.

"Try. Right now." Ozpin says to Oscar.

"It's probably... It's...*Oscar's eyes widen as he sees a visual of what is needed to be described* It's autumn-colored... with a large mahogany desk. There's a small table with chairs in a corner for guests, with a tea set that... I... I gave him." Oscar says as he places a hand on his head, disconcerted by what happened.

"Why did I say that? Why did I know that? Why did I say that?" Oscar repeatedly asks as he begins to back up.

"Because I helped build that school, and the tea set was a gift to the man running it now." Ozpin explains to Oscar.

Oscar sat down on his bed as he held his head while groaning.

"If you don't believe me, you can look it up. If I recall, your aunt has several books on Mistral downstairs. I'm certain you could find a picture in one of them." Ozpin says to Oscar, making Oscar straightens up and lower his hand.
