Each start appears in a special way, in it's own way. Each start doesn't need to open with anyone's massive entry. It doesn't even need to be accompanied by a special occasion. Start is a special occasion in itself. Each start something has to convey. The best part is to listen that with a loving heart, in a way that start finds it's worth in our hearts.
Kitchen of a royal household had an alluring smell in it's air. Neither the recipe of food nor the ingredients used in that food were the reasons to make that smell alluring. It was the affection of the person who was cooking.
"Kanha, it's smelling too good. Kheer made by you is something can drive anyone into oblivion," Dau complimented side hugging his Kanha.
"But this kheer isn't for you, dau. It's meant for the happiest news of arrival of our ladli," Kanha replied while stirring the kheer.
"So what? I will also get kheer. That's enough. We have so many memories with kheer. Isn't it?" Dau's voice became slow down with the last statement.
"We used to urge Yashoda maiya for kheer, and she used to keep the condition that if she doesn't receive any complain in my name whole day then only she will make kheer," Kanha told remembering the happiest days of his life.
"Then my miseries used to start. You had made me handle your complains before reaching to maiya. It was too difficult for me to convince Gopis, huhhh!" Dau huffed in remembrance.
"They were too kind to be convinced by you, or else your convincing had never worked anywhere," Kanha teased dau with a with chuckle.
"They had believe on my genuineness. That's why they used to be convinced by me, understood?" Dau countered again with a huff.
"Kheer is ready, Dau. Let's take it to mata," Kanha served kheer in a bowl.
"Wait, my part isn't over yet," Saying so dau added some more crushed dry fruits in kheer.
"Really my dau is too good in garnishing," Dau raised eyebrows at Kanha's compliment.
"You have never praised me for this before!" Kanha chuckled at dau's exclamation.
"Dau, This is meant for our ladli, and each act done for her is worthy to be considered," Duo smiled at each other.
"Let's go to mata," Both made their way out from kitchen.

Rohini was taking rest. After receiving the news of her pregnancy Devki didn't leave her side. Vasudev was out of palace to distribute desserts among subjects.
"After a long we got the news for which we were waiting eagerly. From now onwards you have to eat properly, sleep properly, and rest properly," Devaki told in a demanding tone making Rohini only stare at her.
"After listening you I remembered the days when I was pregnant with Balram. Yashoda used to repeat these lines at least ten times in a day," Rohini's eyes softened after uttering the name of the most affectionate person she had ever seen, Yashoda.
Kanha and dau who entered into the chamber too stopped at their place after hearing the name, to whom the happiest days of their lives belong.
"We all are grateful to her, and will always be. She resides in between us, in our hearts, where no fluctuations in our remembrance can change her place," Devaki told making Rohini node.
Dau placed his hand on Kanha's shoulder as he was well aware of his Kanha's emotions for Yashoda maiya.
"Mataaa, see what we have for you and our baby sister!" Kanha exclaimed getting his mothers' attention.
They went near them, and settled themselves close to Rohini.
"How you both know that you are going to have a sister?" Devaki asked curiously. Rohini too followed the curiosity of her sister's eyes.
"Because we siblings are one," Both told in unison making their mothers chuckle.
"Mata, have this first bite in happiness of my promotion as an elder brother," Kanha fed the first bite to Rohini.
"Kanha, may you get the same package of promotion you had graced me with," Dau told while feeding next bite to Rohini.
"I will get better," Kanha told while feeding Rohini again.
"I am also waiting to see that. But for now let's focus on feeding mata rather than thinking about your certain future," Making Kanha silent with a puppy face dau chuckled.
Rohini caressed Kanha's hairs while indicating dau not to tease anymore with a happy smile.
