When she stops texting the air turns cold and bitter on my skin. Compaired to when she does, I instant look and my smile can't help but appear. she drives me crazy, and I don't normally reply but when she is silent, it speaks a thousand words.Maybe I need her.
Surely arguments are just a way of fighting for the love you have.
1.30pm Saturday Afternoon At The Beach
I turned up at our arrange time, the coffee shop is little on a sweet quiet corner, a five minute walk towards the sea front. I order my plain black coffee and without a beat, her favourite caramel sugary madness. It's been six months but just the fact we are meeting... I dont even know, its just feeling right.
I have been waiting 15 minutes, she always was late but I thought she'd at least be here on time, it's supposed to be important. I put my head phones in and scrolled through my phone, playing Neck Deeps new album and looked out of the window, following seagulls chasing fries. Then I saw her car park outside, she hadn't noticed me in the window seat as she brushed her hair and got her phone out.
*BEEP*
" I'm stuck in traffic gonna be 5 mins late x "
I can't belive she wants to talk and then starts it off with a lie, I thought I'd let her try to explain but then she walks away down towards the markets, I waited a couple minutes but no Kaelyn so I start to put my jacket on and finish my coffee, her coffee was still warm to touch, as I stand up and walk to the exit to leave.
She enters.
