I can't believe she invited me over, I mean I'm a six & she's a ten. She was the physical definition of 'perfect'. Her smile was perfect, her hair, her eyes, her body, her personality, all just perfect.
Truth is I've had a crush on Teegan since grade eight. Who wouldn't? She's gorgeous inside and out, and when she gave me her number I felt like the world was finally on my side for once.
Being around her was like an escape, an escape to a universe with laughter and pure happiness. God, is she ever a joyful soul to be around.
She sees the good in everyone, always optimistic. Everyone needs someone like her in their life.
Someone like Teegan.
She was the one and only thing on my mind the entire drive to her place, well her and to not hit a pedestrian.
The drive to Teegans took quite a while, not that it bothered me of course. Me, Lucas Robert Hemmings was driving to my middle school crush, Teegan Grace's house. Huh, who would've known.
Apon arrival to the Grace household, I was greeted by a very hyper Kaylie. She was jumping up and down trying to tell me about some movie she wanted to watch with me while dragging me inside the house.
Kaylie let go of my arm to open up the front door but quickly grabbed it again and dragged me inside. I looked around studying my new surroundings, Teegan wasn't in sight so I assumed she was in the kitchen getting snacks for the movie.
My assumption was correct, Teegan came out of the kitchen carrying two bags of popcorn and three cans of soda.
"You ordered coke at the dinner so I assumed." Teegan said, handing me a can of soda.
"Yeah, that'll do." I replied, smiling at the fact that she took notice in what I ordered.
She only replied with gentle smile and headed towards the couches, I followed her lead close behind her.
"Oh, and we were thinking of watching a movie if that's okay with you." She asked sitting down on the couch then turning her head towards me.
"Yeah, I got that" I laughed.
Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink before replying. "Oh yeah, hah, um of course." she sheepishly replied.
"So", Teegan continued "Any good recommendations?" She asked, picking up the remote and turning the TV to rogers on demand.
"Mean girls?" I recommend almost too excitedly.
"Mean girls?", Teegan screamed obviously trying to hold back a laugh. Her attempt failed because the next thing you know she was on the floor laughing.
"Yes Mean Girls." I stated, I could already feel my cheeks heating up.
"Alright, Alright" Teegan chuckled, "Mean Girls it is." She continued while putting in her Rogers code to order the movie.
