Hinata sped at lightning speed out of his class, not forgetting to say thank you and good-bye to his teacher of course, but afterwards, he raced downstairs and to his locker, almost slipping on the floor when he saw Kageyama casually sitting on the bench near the block of lockers. His block of lockers. He let out a shaky "Hi!"

Kageyama looked up, and nodded. "Hi. Did you finish your class?"

Hinata grinned and nodded. Then frowned. "Why are you still here? Didn't your class finish half an hour ago?"

Kageyama nodded. "I did finish my class, but I'm waiting for my sister. She finishes at six thirty. So I still have fifty-five minutes." He sighed out, disappointment dripping from his voice like chocolate on a hot day.

"Oh. Well, um, if you want, I can keep you company for a while. I'll have to go soon, but that's ok. I'm sure my sister won't mind." Hinata said with a grin as he walked over to sit next to the raven.

Kageyama raised his slender eyebrows at Hinata as he sat down. "You have a sister?"

Hinata nodded. "Yeah, she's seven years younger than me."

Kageyama "ohh"ed, and nodded. "My sister is three years older than me."

"Oh, cool." Suddenly, the awkwardness was back, and Hinata found himself fidgeting with his brown bag strap.

"Was... your class ok?" Kageyama asked, trying to fill in the silence.

"Oh, yeah, for sure. I mean, compared to last week, there were more mistakes I think, but I tried my best. I was just... distracted this time, I guess." Hinata said, remember the short personal interaction between him and his teacher.

"Oh. What were you thinking about?" The raven asked curiously.

Hinata tried to control the heat surging to his cheeks, but it was hard, so he simply looked down. "Was just thinking about someone." he mumbled.

A small pang hit the dancer's heart, though he didn't know why. He decided to ignore it, and try to make conversation. He attempted to make it spontaneous like the redhead had done earlier, but didn't know what to say.

"When did you start dancing?"

While Kageyama was thinking, he didn't notice how awkward Hinata was acting (and feeling), and he didn't notice that he was taking his precious time to ask a question.

The raven looked at the redhead, and thought for a moment, before opening his mouth to talk.

"Well, I started when I was four, or five. But I got the hang of it when I was about six or seven. I still remember how my sister used to take me everyday after she finished her lessons at school to a dance academy that was right across our street. It was super close. I wasn't really good when I started out. Well, that's to be expected, right? I mean, I was still a small kid. Anyway, yeah, I can't really remember everything I did there, but I remember that I had a lot of fun, even if I did get scolded a lot for not paying attention and all that crap. In fact, my sister helped me a lot too. She went to the same academy as I did until I was six, and then she left to go tryout at the conservatory, and as you can see, she was accepted, and blah blah blah. Oh, sorry I'm going on and on. Um, you go. Like, er, what- when, did you start?" Kageyama said, hitting himself internally for acting so bloody awkward.

But all Hinata did was giggle. "I started when I was eight. Apparently, my mom took me here because at school, I was bad at everything except music, and at home I was obsessed with hitting two pans with a spatula and a spoon, and it was driving my mom mad. I was constantly drumming my fingers on tables, chairs, beds, kitchen counters... whatever flat surfaces my hands could find. So, my mom said "Enough is enough" and took me to the conservatory so that I could try out. At first, I didn't want to. I actually despised music, to be honest. I hated playing it, hated the fact that I had to practice and study and hated that that was the only thing I was good at. Ah, old times. Oh god, I still remember all the feelings rushing in the first time I stepped foot in here. How suddenly all my confidence and arrogance was gone, and nerves and excitement overpowered. Heh, I did more or less ok when I tried out, and the teacher said I had potential, I just didn't know how to put it to good use. And, well... here I am." He finished, grinning at the raven.
