Chapter Six

Jorel's POV

I was pacing back and forth in my room, deciding whether or not to text Danny. After a couple minutes, I grabbed my phone and sent him a text.

Jay - hey Danny, you wanna hang out at the park? Spend some time together before the game

Danny - sure! I'd love to um when should I show up?

Jay - let's go ahead and do it now, I mean if it's okay with you

Danny - yea that's fine I'll see you there

Jay - see ya

I put down my phone and went to my closet. I changed into my red flannel and black jjeans. I slipped on my shoes and grabbed my LA hat. I looked in the mirror and sighed. I don't see how Danny can say yes to me. He's too sweet and kind, he's too perfect for me. I shook my head and walked out, grabbed my phone, then headed downstairs. I found my mom sitting on the couch, watching me as I went to the kitchen. I felt my phone vibrate so I looked and saw a text from Danny.

Danny - hey I'm on my way to the park, are you there yet?

Jay - no but I'm about to head there right now

Danny - oh okay

I put my phone in my pocket then grabbed a bottle of water before walking out of the house with my skareboard in hand. I rode my board all the way to the park. I spotted Danny sitting on a bench, playing on his phone. I walked over to him and sat beside him. He looked so cute, he had on a black and white striped long sleeve shirt with Jack Skellington on it, tucked into a mid waist black skirt with a black belt and chains, black thigh high socks, black leather boots, and a black leather choker with a heart hanging looking like a lock. He alos wore a black beanie. I put a hand on his thigh causing him to look at me. He smiled and hugged me. "Oh yay you're here! I was starting to think you weren't gonna show up" he said, pulling away. "I wouldn't want to miss seeing this face" I said, earning a smile. "So why did you want to hang out with me for?" he asked, tilting head before resting his head on my shoulder. I felt my face heat up from the contact. I placed my hand on his, expecting him to pull away but he didn't. "Well, I uh, I wanted to ask you something" I said, looking down at our hands. "Hmm? What's that?" he asked, nuzzling his head in my neck.

I took a deep breath and remembered what Jordan told me. "Roses are red, violets are blue. Your heart is made of sugar, can I take a bite out of you?" I said, closing my eyes. I looked away, scared of what his answer was gonna be. I heard him giggle then he hugged me. "Is that your way of asking me out?" he asked, making me look at him. I nodded, chuckling nervoursly as I rubbed the back of my neck. He smiled and kissed my cheek. "Well it's a yes" he said. My eyes widened. "Wait really?!" I exclaimed, he nodded. I hugged him tightly. "I love you so much" I said, pulling away after giving him a kiss on the lips. He smiled at me and kissed my nose. "I love you too" he said.

I saw Danny scoot away just for him to lay down with his head on my lap. I smiled at him and chuckled as his beanie fell off his head. I played with his hair until this dude walked over and started talking to Danny like he was his boyfriend, even thought that's me. Danny sat up and put his beanie back up. "Hey there cutie, wanna come hang with me?" he asked. I glared at him and balled up my fists. Danny noticed and held my hands. "Baby don't, or I'll call George" he threatened. I looked at him and I could see he was being serious. I sighed and looked down. "Come on, gorgeous, I'll take you somewhere fun. You can forget this dude, I'm ten times better" he continued, moving Danny's hair from of his eye. I growled as he continued flirting with MY Danny. I couldn't take it anymore so I ignored what Danny said as I stood and punched the dude in the face. "Jay stop!" Danny yelled, standing up and grabbing my arm. I yanked my arm away and went back to the douche. "Jay stop or I swear I will call George!" he yelled, pulling at my shirt. I jerked away and went to take another punch but he hit me first. I heard Danny scream. I hit the guy in the jaw causing him to fall on the ground.
