Chapter Seven

Timeskip to day Jay returns to school

Danny's POV

I was standing in the courtyard with Nate as I waited for the others. I looked over and saw Cody looking back but he looked upset. Did something happen between him and Nate? I shrugged it off and continued looking for my friends. I saw Spencer walking while typing on his phone. I looked behind him and saw Jordan run up and grab him from behind. I smiled but it soon turned to a frown when I saw Jay walking up. He walked up to me with a weak smile. I looked away and rolled my eyes.

Okay I'm not upset about the fact he was suspended for two weeks but the fact he never responded to any of my texts the entire time. So I think it's fair that he ignored me that I ignore him. "Danny? You okay?" Jay asked, I just acted like he wasn't even there.

Jordan walked over and grabbed my arm before dragging me over to where he was. I smiled at Spencer before he got me to look at whatever it was on his phone. My eyes widened at the sight of the cutest outfit. It consisted of a black crop top, pink plaid skirt, black holey fishnet stockings, and short gothic boots. "I love it!" I said. "I was just scrolling and came across this and I thought you'd like it" Spencer said with a smile. I smiled back and hugged him. He hugged back as he chuckled. I pulled away and still had a big smile on my face.

I looked at Spencer, "I wonder how much it is" I said, tilting my head. "I don't know, I'll check if you want" he said, I nodded with a squeak. "Please" "Alright" he chuckled and went back to looking at his phone. I looked over and noticed Nate was in the same spot and Cody is now with him but Jay is no where. I saw Tony trying to talk to Yuma but he would just avoid him. Oh yeah, Tony got suspended too for getting in that fight with Jay after the game. I guess Jimmy didn't take it too well.

"Huh, a little more than what I thought" Spencer said, looking surprised. "Oh? How much is it?" I asked. "It's uhm, it's 160.59" he said, my eyes widened. "Wow, that's a lot" I said. "Don't worry I can get it for you" he said, smiling. "No it's fine. You don't have to, especially if it's that much" I said, going to leave. "Danny, it's okay. I know you want the outfit so you're gonna get it" he said as he ordered it. I sighed in defeat. I looked around to try and find Jay but I couldn't see through the crowd of people. "Hey I'll be right back" Jordan said, walking off.

I turned to Spencer and held my arms out for a hug. He picked up on it and wrapped his arms around me and held me tightly. I wrapped my arms around his neck and buried my face in his neck. "What's up?" he said, running a hand through my hair. I sniffled. "I feel like I upset Jay or something. He wouldn't text me the whole two weeks so I thought he was ignoring me so when he tried to talk to me a few minutes ago I ignored him and I think I made him sad" I said, tears forming. "He wasn't ignoring you, his phone was taken for four weeks" he said, my eyes widened and tears fell. "I-I..oh no..." I feel bad now. I pulled away and went to find Jay.

I saw him talking to Dylan at a table so I walked towards them. Before I could get close to them the bell rang. They got up and grabbed their bags before walking to the building. I tried to grab Jay's arm but missed. I spotted Nate and walked over to him. He looked at me and smiled. "Hey, wondering when you were gonna come back" he chuckled. "I think Jay got a little hurt when you left though" he added. "I know and I tried to get his attention but he already walked inside" I pouted, looking down. He rubbed my back as we started to walk.

five weeks later

I was walking to school with Nate. I felt cute. I decided I'd wear something a little gothic yet cute for Jay. I was wearing a white skirt, black undershirt with a black long sleeve transparent shirt, black fishnet stockings and black leather knee high boots. And I had a black leather choker. We were talking about random stuff and what not. We made it to school and Spencer ran up to me with a big smile. "Well the outfit should arrive in a few days so you're welcome" he said, I smiled and hugged him. "Thanks, I still say you didn't have to" I said, he shrugged. "What you gonna do?" he asked, raising a brow with a smirk. "Absolutely nothing" I said, he laughed. "What I thought" he said, walking off. I looked at Nate and he was confused. "You'll find out a few days from now" I said, he nodded but was still confused.
