Chapter Eleven

Nate"s POV

I woke up the next morning to Danny snuggled close with an arm across my chest. I smiled and decided to pull him closer so our bodies were almost touching. I closed my eyes before I felt a kiss planted on my lips. I opened my eyes to meet the beautiful chocolate brown ones staring back at me. He giggled before getting up, leaving the room.  I sighed and sat up, running a hand through my hair. I stood and went to walk out when Danny returned. "Where do you think you're going?" he asked, wrapping his arms around me, kissing me. I chuckled into the kiss. He pulled away giving a cute grin. "Was gonna see where you ran off to but here you are" I said, earning another giggle.

I checked the time and it was pretty early in the morning. Only one hour before my dad is supposed to leave. I could go now but I'd rather not risk it. "Hey, you okay?" Danny asked, putting a hand on my cheek. I smiled and nodded. "Yeah, better than ever with you near me" he just giggled. I heard his mom call for him before hearing him sigh. "I'll be right back" he said before walking out the room. I sat back down and scrolled through random things on my phone. I came across a post from Cody....him and Jay are together. Well then.

I ignored it and continued to scroll. I suddenly got a message from Spencer. I opened it and saw a picture of a pack of blunts with "Jordan should like these don't ya think" following after. I replied with a "totally" then put my phone down. Danny walked in shortly after with a cute smile. "Surprised you didn't change to leave" he said, sitting beside me. "Nah, only have about forty minutes until asshole leaves for work so figured I'd wait here until then" I said, he nodded and snuggled into me. I chuckled, wrapping an arm around the blonde. "Why don't you style your hair like you did last night more often?" he asked, I shrugged. "I guess I could if you like it that much" "I love it, you look handsome" he grinned. I shook my head, smiling. "Alright then"

After a bit of cuddling it was finally time for my asshole dad to leave for work. I grabbed my phone and sent a text to my mom to make sure he was gone. She responded shortly after saying I was good to come home. I stood up only to earn a pout from the blonde. "I want more cuddles!" he whined. I just laughed. "Well I'd say if your parents were okay with it, you can just come to my house" I offered, he looked down before getting up and walking out the room. I took the opportunity to change into some jeans that I grabbed, I just kept the same shirt on since I'm only going home. He came back a few minutes later with a slight smile. "My mom said it was okay though my dad did look a bit annoyed" he said, going quiet at the end. I rolled my eyes. "Well if you're mom said it's okay then it's okay, I'm sure my mom won't care so get dressed and let's go"

He went to look for clothes as I stepped out. He gave me a kiss on my cheek as I did so. He giggled before closing the door. I smiled, shaking my head and pulled my phone out and checked it after feeling it vibrate. I got another message from Spencer.

Spencer - sooo....I might have somewhere to stay

Me - wdym? Weren't you staying with Jordan?

Spencer - yes but he fucked up and back talked his mom and I heard her tell him that if he does it again she'll change her mind about me staying

Me - wtf? That's fucked up

Spencer - trust me, I know hopefully  I can find myself a place so I won't have to worry about this shit anymore

Me - I'll help if you need me to

Spencer - maybe, I'll keep you in mind if I do

Me - good deal, I'll ttyl dude

Spencer - bye, say hi to Danny for me lol

Me - okay lol

I put my phone away with a sigh as Danny walked out. "You okay?" he asked, assuming he heard my sigh. "Yeah, why?" "Well you look upset, you sure everything is okay?" he tilted his head, I just sighed again. "Well not really, but I'm pretty sure he'll tell you himself...maybe" he just looked at me confused. "He? Who's he?" "Spencer, he messaged me, what he said isn't really something I should spread around. It'd be better if it came from him" I said, he nodded. "I hope he's okay, I can just imagine how bad it is since you said that" "Yeah, well...you ready to go?" I asked, he smiled and nodded.

He grabbed my hand and led me downstairs. He hopped over to his mom and hugged her. I noticed his dad from the corner of my eye, giving me a disgusted look. I tried to ignore him before he stood and walked over to me. "Hey punk, I'd suggest you stay the hell away from my son. It's people like you that encourage this disgusting behavior" he snarled, I bit my tongue. I wanted to punch him right then and there and tell him how much of a bitch he is but I tried to keep my cool for Danny's sake. I just stood there, not moving a muscle in case the slightest movement sets this prick off. Danny came back and grabbed my hand before instantly pulling away as his father glared. "How about you let him go home and you stay here" his dad said, sounding like a complete asshole as always.

I was starting to shake, not out of fear but out of anger. My blood was starting to boil the longer I stayed. Luckily, his mom came over and told her husband to back off. "You two go have fun" she smiled. We walked out the house, Danny's hand in mine as we walked to my home.

We made it there in a minute since we're like two houses apart. I opened the door, letting this gorgeous boy walk in first. I followed behind, closing the door behind me. My mom was in the kitchen, cooking something that smelled sweet. I walked over with Danny following behind me. I saw her mixing something in a large bowl. "Hey mom, hope you don't mind but Danny is gonna hang here for bit" I said, she looked over and smiled. "That's okay, sweetie. It'll be nice to get to know you more" she said, looking behind me. "Yeah" Danny giggled, sounding shy. I just chuckled. "What are you making?" I asked, curious about the scent. "Well, I've been wanting to do this brownie recipe I came across the other day and I finally got all the stuff to do it so...that's what I'm doing. They're in the oven right now I'm just mixing up the ingredients for my homemade icing" she said, my eyes widened with excitement. "Your homemade icing is the best" I chirped. "Thanks sweetie"

Danny grabbed my hand and tugged as if he was trying to tell me to come. I looked at him with a smile and light laugh. "What is it?" "Can we go to your room?" he asked, tilting his head. "And do what?" "I don't know, I did say I wanted more cuddles" "Oh yeah"

With that I led him to my room, shutting the door behind us. I turned and he plopped himself onto my bed with a giggle. I just smiled. I went to speak but was interrupted by my phone vibrating once again. I checked expecting it to be Spencer but it wasn't. Instead, it was Cody. Okay....

Cody - well have fun with Danny, I got Jay now

I responded with a thumbs up and tossed my phone on the bed. I sat down beside Danny and pulled him close. He squealed and snuggled into me, like a child who hasn't seen their parent for days. "Wanna watch tv?" I asked. He nodded before moving to the top of my bed, trying to wrap up in the covers. I let out an 'aww' before turning on the tv in my room and grabbing the remote. I got beside him just to have the cover thrown over my shoulder. I looked over and kissed him on his forehead, earning another giggle. "What do you wanna watch?" "Uummmm.....I don't know, it's your room and your TV, you choose" he said, snuggling into me once more. I shrugged putting it on a random show.

We stayed like that until he decided it was time to head home. I walked him home, giving him a kiss goodbye and went back to my own.

Been a while, sorry not updating. I've been focusing on my mental health since it hasn't been at its best. I'm finally feeling better, good enough to return to my stories.
