(There are certain parts of this story that could be upsetting to some readers, so viewer discretion is advised!)

You were in an argument with your S.O about something stupid and miniscule.

They came home late once again, you not knowing where they had been, and you had the suspicion they were lying to you, so you confronted her about it.

"Where have you been, C/N. I won't ask you again."

"So don't! I'm tired of answering!"

"I just can't shake the feeling that you're lying to me! And my gut is always right."

"Well maybe instead of listening to your gut, you should listen to me when I tell you for the last time, I was at a friend's house!"

You had them cornered. You were pointing, and shouting, and the neighbors were wondering what the hell was going on. Then, you got really pissed off.

A granual of spit landed on your cheek from yelling, and without thinking, you raised a hand to them. You are not violent, so you don't know why you did it. But what happened next was even more unexpected.

They caught your hand, and backed you up against a wall. As your back hit the wall, your breath became shallow. You felt their heavy breathing, and the heat coming off of their body.

In a seductive tone, they said: "Wanna try that again, Y/N?"

You felt the heat rising to your cheeks as you tried to break free but she was not moving an inch. Your girlfriend must be really strong.

You sighed in defeat. "Now... my little fury, please calm down and lets talk this out, okay?" She smiled.

You sighed, but ultimately gave in. You knew this wasn't just going to end. Especially not how you wanted it to end. (wink)

You sat down next to C/N, your thighs touching and you tried to calm down from the event that just happened.

"I'm so sorry, C/N. I can't believe I raised my hand to you. I would never hurt you, you have to believe that."

"I do. I know it was just a tense moment. But lets talk about the source of this argument, okay? Why do you think I'm not telling you the truth, Y/N?"

You realized you didn't know why you didn't trust her word, even though you should. "I don't know, I just... I'm scared, C/N. I'm scared you're off somewhere, with someone else, having a better time than you are with me."

C/N looked you up and down, with a flirty, yet concerned look on their face. "You know I would never do that to you, Y/N. I love you too much. I would never lie to you, and I would feel too guilty to lie even if I did."

She took your hand. "I know you're scared. And I know it might take a little while to trust each other fully, because of past relationships and social trauma. But I would never do anything to hurt you, and I love you. I hope you know and understand that."

Tears welled up in your eyes. "I love you so much, C/N. I'm so lucky to have someone as understanding as you."

(And you will too! Even if this isn't your situation now, each and every one of you out there will find someone who is as understanding and patient as C/N in this story. Please believe me when I tell you, it gets better.)

After you cried it out, and C/N hugged you and assured you that everything is fine, you both went to bed, snuggled up together, legs intertwined and happily whispering sweet nothings into each other's ears.

There is nothing better than this.
