It was just another normal day at school. You were fairly average at school. Average height, average grades, average clothes, average friends, but not so average crush. Your crush's name was C/N and she was totally out of your league. But for some reason, she took an interest in you.

After school you started walking home, but not before you heard someone calling your name from behind you. "Y/N!" She yelled, and as you spun around, you saw the girl you fell so hard for. C/N. 

"Oh shit. she's coming over here. nonononono what am I gonna say? ohgodohgodohgodoh-" your inner monologue rambled, but she interrupted.

"So uh.. I was wondering if maybe you wanted to come over today?" You clamped your mouth shut out of pure fear that you would say the wrong thing.

"C'mon, Fluttershy. Just need you to shake your head or nod."

You nodded slowly. 

"Awesome! You can walk with me."

Turned out, C/N lived fairly close to you without you knowing it. 

As you entered her house, her mother greeted you and her; not even acknowledging why you were there which thought was strange, considering you were a total stranger who just entered their house.

"Okay, you can follow me up to my room if you want. Or you can stay down here with my mom and help her make dinner, but I have a feeling you'd have more fun with me." She said with a wink. You flushed 50 shades of pink. 

Reluctantly, you followed C/N up to her room and sat on her bed, still not saying a word as she turned on Mario Kart, and offered you a controller. Your palms were sweaty as you took the controller from her hand and your fingers lightly brushed against hers. That slight touch alone sent a shiver down your spine.

"You know what this kind of reminds me of?" You looked up from the screen after choosing a character to listen to what C/N had to say. "The Little Mermaid. You won't talk to me, and even though words can mean everything, actions speak louder. I fell in love with a girl who won't talk to me, can you believe that?" 

You blushed. Did she just say what you think she just said? She fell in love with you??? 

"I-I'm in love with you too C/N." You finally spoke.

Her face lit up as her cheeks dusted a light pink as well. 

"Heh... well, are you ready to play a few rounds of Mario Kart, Y/N?" 

"Yes." You spoke softly, clicking the start button as your animated engine rumbled. "I'm gonna kick your ass."
