You were sitting at home, waiting on your girlfriend.
What the hell was taking her so long???
She promised you she'd be there at 7:00 and it was now 8:50. You were sending multiple worried texts and pacing around your apartment, wondering what happened. Is she hurt? Who's she with? DID SHE DIE?!?!
Don't be ridiculous, Y/N. She didn't die.
BUT WHAT IF SHE DID?!?!?
Calm down. I'm sure she's fine. She probably just...forgot. Yeah. That's it. She just forgot.
"Try and get some sleep." You thought. By then she'll have sent you a text or come to see you and explained everything.
~time skip to 11:00~
It was now 11:00 and you were still waiting on a text from C/N. At this point you were starting to cry with worrisome, thinking of all the horrible things that could've happened to her.
"At that, you heard the door swing open and you closed your eyes, pretending to be asleep.
"Y/N...?" You heard her say softly.
Your back was turned to her. You sniffled.
"Baby I'm sorry. I was hanging out with some friends and I completely forgot we were supposed to hang out tonight."
Silence.
"Babyyyyyy" she wailed. "Fine, have it your way."
You thought she left, and you sniffed again, but then you felt a warm body lay next to you and wrap her firm arms around your body, holding you tight against her. Her breath was warm against your cheek and you felt her caress you as if she were apologizing once again. She inhaled, in which after she spoke the words "I love you"
You sighed in defeat and turned to face her, her stroking your cheek lightly. "I love you too C/N, it's okay." You both smiled, and luckily it was too dark for her to see your lightly dusted pink cheeks.
"Your cheeks are getting warmer, Y/N." She teased.
"What?? They are???"
"Shh. No. They're not, I was just teasing you. But...they are a little warm. It's nice"
You smiled.
"Sorry if I woke you, by the way."
"Nope. I was up worrying about you."
"Well, I'm here now. And now I'm not gonna let you go."
