ROSÉ POV

Jimin and I got ready for the mission. We put on our gear and grabbed our weapons. As I set my C-4's in the bag, Kiara comes walking up and holds one out of the bag.

"Kiara, give that back to me; this is not a toy," I said, grabbing the C-4 out of her hand.

I zipped up the bag before she could grab anything else.

"Mommy, where are you and daddy going," Kiara asked.

"Oh, your daddy and I are going to the city to do a couple of errands," I replied.

"Don't leave me," she said with her puppy eyes.

"Awe, you're going to miss mommy," I said.

She nodded her head. I kissed her and led her to Jennie.

"Don't worry, I'll be back; in the meantime, Auntie Jennie and Jisoo will take care of you," I said.

After I said that, she walked over to Jennie, and she held out her hand for Kiara.

"You got this, right," Jennie asked me before I headed out.

"Yeah, hopefully, nothing goes wrong here," I replied.

"Rosé, you ready to go," Jimin yelled at me from across the room.

"Yeah," I yelled back.

I carried my bag to the elevator, where Jimin was waiting for me. We went up to the surface, walked to the parking lot, and took one of the select assault vehicles we stole from Hunter's men. We then headed out of the parking lot and led to the west side. While looking out to the window, millions of people in single file line on the sidewalk. Not one person was happy to be here.

"Rosé, we're crossing a border, put on your guard helmet," Jimin said pulling up to one of the tolls.

I grabbed one of the helmets in the backseat and put it on. This thing felt heavy on my head; how the hell do his men wear this every day. I bet it gets sweaty in here. As we pulled up, one of the guards told us to pull down the window. My body was trembling; I hope they miss us.

"Okay, you're good to go," the guard said.

"Thank you," then Jimin drove off.

I took off the helmet and took a deep breath of air in. It is so hard to get oxygen in the thing.

"Why are there borders here," I asked.

"Hunter set them up for security measures," Jimin replied.

"But, why, it's not like no one can escape this city," I said.

"Rosé, you know how last month we had to change food suppliers."

"Yeah, you never told me the reason why we had to do that."

"One of our secret suppliers got caught crossing the border from the South to the base in the East. Now we get our food from the train cart," Jimin explained.
