ROSÉ POV

A FEW HOURS LATER

Hey, how long until we reach Miami," I asked Suga.

"We'll land there in maybe about half an hour," Suga replied.

In the meantime, I walk over to Jisoo, who was speaking with Taehyung.

"Hey guys," I said.

"Oh hey," Jisoo replied.

I sat next to her, across from Taehyung.

"Hey, I never got your name," Taehyung asked me.

"Oh, sorry, my name is Rosé," I replied.

"Hi, Rosé, I'm Taehyung," he said.

"So Tae, tell us a little about yourself," I said.

"Well, I was born in France, just like Jennie and Yoongi," he said. "I used to work at a bar in Lyon."

"What's a Lyon," I asked.

"It's a city in France," Taehyung replied.

"So how did you get locked up in the exile," Jisoo said.

"I killed some on Hunter's men, and yeah, there I was," Taehyung explained. "But anyway, enough about me, tell about yourself, Rosé."

"Well, let's see, I was born in the shithole of Harbor City, I went into poverty at age 19, and I have a daughter named Kiara," I said.

"That's her, right," Taehyung said, pointing to Kiara, who was playing with her teddy bear.

"Yep, that's her," I said.

"Who's the father," Taehyung asked.

"Jimin."

"Really, huh, I didn't expect that," Taehyung said. "So, if you don't mind me asking, what's your relationship with Jimin."

"Um......it's kinda had its ups and downs, firstly he was boyfriend, then we broke up, and now we're back together," I said.

"You ever had a girlfriend," Jisoo asked.

"Uh.......no, I haven't had a girlfriend in my life," Taehyung replied.

Anyways, it was near closing, and Suga was about ready to land the jet.

"Well, talk to you later, guys," Taehyung said and then walked away.

"He's cute," Jisoo mumbled.

"What," I said.

"I'm serious; what's wrong with me thinking of that," Jisoo replied.

I just brushed off what Jisoo said, and the team got out of the cargo doors and set up a camp on the outskirts of the city. Already, I could see the palm trees and felt the ocean breeze of the east coast. I set up the tent that Jimin and I will be staying in. After everything was set up, Suga began making a fire in the camp center, and we all sat around it, feeling its warmth.

"So...............what's the plan in Miami," Suga asked.

"I say we camp out here and get ready to take down Hunter," Jimin said.

"But where would we start? We don't even know where Hunter's main base of operation is," Jisoo said.

"Well, in the meantime, we should get prepped up. Miami has a lot of tools for us that we can use," Jennie said.

"Oh, come on, guys, I want to relax a bit in Miami," Jisoo said.

"How can you relax when the whole world is controlled over some madman," Jimin blurted.

"GUYS, CALM DOWN!!!" I said. "I think Jisoo's right; we weren't able to really settle in Amsterdam; I think a fresh mindset in Miami is good."

"Yeah, you're right; I think I need a break. So where do you guys want to go," Jimin asked?

"Don't know, what do you guys want to do," I said.

"I want to go see the city; it's about time I see the bright state of Florida instead of the dark, depressed Harbor City," Jisoo said.

"Alright, let's make a list, name something, go," Jimin said.

"Let's go to the mall," Jennie said.

"Okay, what else."

"Let's head over to Miami Beach," Taehyung said.

"I like it; what else you guys have," Jimin asked.

"Let's visit Hard Rock Stadium," Jisoo suggested.

"Alright, one more thing," Jimin said.

"Uhh, watch a movie," I said.

"Alright, cool, I've made a list."

Jimin set the list aside, and the group began discussing other things. Mainly about how life was before all this.

"Do you guys remember when we would hang out in that little basketball court every day," Jennie said to Taehyung and Suga.

"Yeah, it was the best moments with you guys," Taehyung said.

Silence entered the night, and Jennie let out sighs.

"I miss those days, do you guys," Jennie said.

"Of course," Suga replied.

Jisoo joined the conversation.

"I remember when I was young before my dad was this evil mayor, he used to work at an office. I couldn't see him most of the time, but he still found ways to spend time with me when he came home. I remember asking him every day, "Daddy, can I come to work with you" if I were lucky, he would carry me to the car, and I spend the day with him and skip school. Now that he's mayor, those days were long gone."

Little tears began to drop from Jisoo's eyes, her hands approaching her face to wipe them off.

"I remember going out with friends every day after class. We just wanted to have fun; we didn't care if we got caught by the cops. We would graffiti walls and do illegal substances. It was stupid of me back then, but those were memories, good ones," Jimin said.

Then, the camp became silent. It's crazy how a mood can change from 10 to 1 real quick.

"I think we should get some sleep," I said.

"Yeah, I'm tired," Taehyung replied.

Suga put out the fire, and the rest of us went back to our tents. Jimin and I went to our sides while Kiara sleeping in the middle of the tent.

"I wish this could end soon," I mumbled.

"Me too," Jimin replied.

"Get some rest, babe," I said.

"Goodnight."

"Goodnight," he replied.

We have a long way ahead of us.
