The Fate of the Schäfer Expedition....Wait, Are Those Yetis

Narrator pov

Emma watched from afar with her new wolf friend as Nathan and Tenzin solved the gigantic puzzle. "Tenzin pull that lever!" Nathan shouted over to him, he pulls the lever and Nate uses the large barrel like objects that fell to cross.

Nathan climbed until he was climbing on a large gear,he kept climbing onto several other gears, becoming very far away from the ground. He and Tenzin finally made it to the levers, but because of the cylindrical gears falling, the bridges were destroyed leaving Nathan to find another way across.

"Guess you'll have to do it the hard way!" Emma shouts towards Nathan who smiles at her comment and proceeds to cross and accidentally step on another switch.

After getting to two switches next to each other, both Nathan and Tenzin stepped on them, causing path to appear and the statue in the center to change. Emma noticing their absence, put the pup in her bag, locks it down so nothing will fall out, and heads over to where Nathan is.

Nathan's pov

"Hey, what did I miss?" Emma says, appearing behind me, "Nothing yet." I grab her hand, and then the door closes, "Damn, let's just hope there's another exit." She says, and looks at what Tenzin called her over for.

"Nate, take a look at this." She says, I look and see bodies scattered on the floor, "This must be the rest of Schäfer's crew. The Schäfer Expedition." I find a case with a depiction of the Cintamani stone on it, opening it, I see blue stuff and smell it, "More resin...Would you look at this...these men were all shot."

"They were Nazis....but why were they shot here of all places." Emma asks, aloud. "Schäfer killed them...it was the only way to stop them." I say, and Tenzin, says he would do that in his language, but Emma says, "I don't think he had any other options at the time."

Finding a semi-automatic pistol and a micro-mm, I gave them both to Emma. I picked up a different gun, and then those demonic looking yetis came back.

Emma dodged everything the yetis threw at her. Once the platform started going up after I shot the lever, "Emma grab my hand!" Emma ran over protecting her bag and made it, but Tenzin wasn't going to make the jump.

Well, he wouldn't have until Emma grabbed him and stopped him from falling, "I got you! Hang on!" She told him and pulled him up. Once we reached land, "The village....we have to go!" Emma urgently says, and runs off. Tenzin and I follow her, when I arrived with Tenzin, Emma was talking to two children asking what had happened.

"They did something with Schäfer," she says turning to me as Tenzin went to check on something, "Nate, this is our fault. If we hadn't come here, Lazarević wouldn't have---"

Shushing her with my hand I say, "Just get make sure they get to safety and come find me later." She nods, and I run off with Tenzin, fighting against Lazarević's soldiers.

I kept fighting them and avoiding gunfire, as the beautiful village I'd walked through earlier became a war zone.

Making it to a relatively safe place, I reloaded my guns but, pointed one behind me when I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Easy there, cowboy. Just me." Emma says and smiles when I turn to face her.

Loading her gun she says, "Shall we?"

Emma and Nathan run around, Nathan taking care of the heavily armored guys, and Emma taking care of the easy ones. When Nathan found a heavy machine gun, however, Emma ducked behind him as he shot down the soldiers.
