Rescuing Schäfer

Emma and Nathan stood outside the locked door, and Emma waited as Nathan began climbing to open the door from the opposite side.

Nathan climbed around and onto the wall that surrounded the blocked door. He climbed up and jumped to a wooden platform, barely grasping onto the wood after a plank broke and fell, "...Whoa!... Oh shit..." he exclaimed.

"Quiet." He added remembering the warning he got from Emma. He continued climbing and threw a guard off the higher platform. Nathan climbed up and grabbed some grenades and a gun he found.

Nathan jumped down and stealthily took out a guard, taking the grenades on him. His good luck ran out, however, when a guard spotted him and the rest that were below him begin shooting and trying to find him.

After taking out the one guy withaser sight, he took out all of the others, dropping down to go open the door. "Agghh!!" He cried out as a guy with an RPG shot at the tower. "Holy crap!!" A red beam above him fell and the doors opened.

"So much for subtle!" Emma says as she ran through, Nathan retorts, "Tell that to the guy with the RPG." Emma picks up a pistol, and together they begin shooting at the soldiers in a shootout. After they defeat most of the soldiers, they made their way across shooting at the opposing forces.

"We got snipers!" Nathan informs Emma who says, "We're sitting ducks down here, get me to that ladder!" Nathan boosts her up, and they start taking care of the snipers. Emma stays on the lower level as Nathan climbs up and begins picking up scattered ammo.

"Gotta cross that bridge." Emma says and adds, "But those snipers will tear us to pieces.." Nathan tells her, "There's a sniper rifle up there." He gestures to the higher level above them and she says, "Think you can cover me long enough, so I can grab it?" Nathan nods as Emma makes her move.

Emma grabs the rifle after climbing up to the higher platform, and begins aiming at the snipers. "Shit!" She exclaimed as she was almost shot twice. Emma took out all the snipers, and then let Nathan deal with the soldiers that rushed out after the snipers were gone.

"Let's head across!" Emma shouts and jumps down, following Nate across the bridge. "There they are." She says and Nathan states, "Ugh, that son of a bitch... We don't have much time... we gotta hurr-" Emma running ahead yells, "Come on, Nate!" He says, "And there she goes..."

Emma's pov

"Right behind you-" Nate trips and the bridge begins crumbling, "Hurry up, run!" I yell as I make it across but Nate hangs off the bridge as it hits the side of the tower's stone base. "Hang on!" I started to frantically try and find a way to help until he almost reached the top. "Grab my hand!"

I pull him up as the bridge falls and he tells me, "I'm never crossing a bridge with you again." I laugh a little, "Deal." Helpung him push the doors open, we climb up this long staircase, create a half baked plan.

We ended up in another shootout; I helped as best as I could but we were having some trouble. "Well, let's go get Schäfer now." I climbed up and pushed down a crate for Nate, "Special....delivery..." I said as I pushed it down.

Nate follows me and I move a beam then go on ahead climbing through a window we we became stuck in a small shootout. "They never stop coming..." I muttered as we climbed high after finishing them.

We walked through some snow and through a red door, right into a confrontation with bullets. As the door closed behind us, we began shooting for out lives. "Duck!" I yell as a small RPG was fired at us.

Nate ran off into a different direction, and I went in a similar direction. 'So many bullets....arghh...gotta find Schäfer..' I thought as we opened the door to the room he was being kept in. "Oh no." I rushed over to Schäfer who was bruised and laying on the ground propped up against some rubble.
