"I can go by myself."
That was what Prem said to his manager as they arrived to Prem's destination. He told P'Patty to wait for him in the car.
P'Patty had to let Prem go with heavy-heart. How was he not? The young man that he knew was cheerful before, and now those eyes showed him sorrow. Not only Prem, but also Boun. Since when did this couple not shine together?
Prem dragged his feet to come into the house. The door was opened, one thing that had never changed. In the morning, the door must be wide opened since people who works with P'New would come in and out many times.
At the time he reached the family room, he heard the sound of fridge door being opened. Someone was taking out a box of fresh milk and poured it into a mug. When he was about to drink it, that person finally realized that Prem was standing there, watching him.
Prem saw that person's eyes dilated. They blinked, did not believe that Prem could be there. "P'Boun..."
"Why are you here?"
"I've come back to Bangkok."
"Yeah, you've told me in LINE."
"You did not reply."
...
"P'Boun-"
"Go back to your condo."
"I want to see y-"
"No," Boun cut Prem off. "I don't want to see you, Prem. You have to go." Boun turned his back at Prem and walked away.
"I know what happened before the accident."
Boun put his footsteps on hold. His heartbeat sped up. He thought he was ready to face this situation, but it seemed like Boun overestimated himself.
"P'Ty had told me that we were not in good terms that time. You kept apologizing but I did not give you a chance to talk," Prem explained. "I can not remember what was wrong, so I think, I will forgive-"
"Don't," Boun said. He finally turned his face to Prem. "If you need to forget in order to forgive me, keep your forgiveness for yourself. I don't need it."
Prem lost every words he wanted to say to his boyfriend. He could only watched that broad back slowly moved away and disappeared from his sight, replaced by the sound of footsteps climbing the stairs. Maybe Boun was right, he thought, Prem must go. With an empty mind, Prem surrendered. He started to walk away from the room, until...
"Prem?"
Prem was called by a soft voice. He carefully took a look at his back and found Earth smiling at him.
"It's 8 AM. You are so early." Earth came closer to Prem. When he found a glass of milk on the table, Earth exhaled. "Is that yours?"
"No, it's-"
"It's still cold. It must be freshly from the fridge." Earth took the glass and handed it to Prem. "Here, for you."
"But that-"
"It's your P'Boun's, right?" Earth asked. The nod from Prem made him smiled wider. "Then, take responsibility of his leftover."
Prem accepted the glass. He stood for a moment, staring at the glass.
"Let's have a seat and a good talk. It's been a while." Earth invited Prem to the follow him sitting on the sofa. It tickled Earth that Prem had been so quiet, like the first time they met years ago.
Prem sat beside Earth in silent. Is it alright to stay here longer? Prem asked himself.
"Do you want to watch something, Prem?"
