It was still clear in Prem's mind and the words was still ringing in his ears, how hurt the look that Boun showed him yesterday night. Those big eyes looking at him emotionlessly, right to his eyes, so deep that even it was emotionless, those eyes had pierced his heart. He wondered what kind of boyfriend he might be for these two years. What relationship they had built.

Last night, Sammy told him nothing more in the taxi. Both were silent. When the sun rose, Prem called his manager to book a flight to Ubon. And now, here he was, swinging his feet into his house.

"I'm expecting you, but not this early kha, Rut."

Prem was greeted by his mother who was arranging plates full of food on the dining table. It was almost 10.00 AM.

"Why are you preparing for lunch already, Mae?"

His mother smiled. "I've told you, I'm expecting you. By 'not this early', I mean, you might trapped in traffic on your way from the airport."

Prem sighed. He lifted his head up. His eyes stopped at the door. His old bedroom door. He remembered nothing but now, he was tortured.

"Do you miss your old room?"

The question from his mother, startled Prem. He looked at his mother and his feeling got more broken. He was in pain, he wanted to cry and scream.

"Are you really going to turn my old room to be a working space for Por¹?"

His mother laughed. "Of course not, but we won't let you come back there."

"What is the reason?"

His mother took a deep breath, preparing herself to tell his son the most honest answer. "We want to stop you for playing dangerous games, such us, falling from the window."

"Mae..."

"How about we talking while sitting?" His mother took a seat on the dining chair. She got a plate for herself and began eating. "Patty, come here and eat with us kha." She invited Prem's manager who put some distance between him and Prem, to give Prem and his mother space to talk.

"Mae..."

"Hmm?"

"I'm sorry, I have made you sad."

His mother nodded. "But I think, I have a good resilience because I was more expressive when I saw you doing that. I screamed and cried, but when the ambulance came, I hurriedly got my feet on the ground and my mind came clean. Right, Patty?"

"Khrab, Khun Mae. It's really different..."

"That's right, it's really different with Boun. I don't remember the details, but I think I did not hear his voice that time." Prem's mother tried to recall. "Or was my scream too loud?"

P'Patty exhaled heavily. "I handled him khrab, Khun Mae. He froze in his place. His eyes were about to pop out. I had to tell him to sit down."

"I remember, I invited him to go with the ambulance, with me."

"Umm," P'Patty confirmed. "He did not go with you. He should have gone with me, but he changed his mind half way."

"He was in real shock."

"Really, really." P'Patty commented, agreed with Prem's mother.

"I, to be honest, don't want to discuss about this, Rut. The shock thrills through me. If you forget, then it is good, but then I realized this morning when I read Boun's message that he is suffering with the unfinished business between you two and you will be in pain, too, if he is suffering. So, this is the best, no?"
