Kofo and I get to the hospital and I sprint into the reception to get a nurse in assisting us.

They come out immediately with a wheelchair and we rush behind them as they wheeled her into the emergency ward.

" You'll have to wait here miss " one of the nurse stops us closing the door behind them and leaving just me and Kofo by the walk way.

Kofo wraps her arms around me as tears spills down my face.

" It's okay dear, she'll be fine I promise " she comforts me patting my back repeatedly before leading me to a bench.

" miss are you here for Temi lola " someone asks and I look up to see a man wearing a white coat, the doctor.

" Yes, that's my aunt, is she Ok? " I ask impatiently standing up

" Ok, I'm Daniel, the doctor and yes she's Ok, she's asleep now but you can see her "

" I'm Ella, doc please what happened to her? " I ask my undying question

" she had an heart attack and she's a diabetic patient right?, her blood sugar was also low "

" Yes she is "

My heart sinks and all I could do was grip my chest with my hands

" we'll need to carry a test on her to know why this happened but my shift is over now. The result will be taken to the doctor who takes over from me " He states and I thank him before he leaves

Heart attack?

I look down and Kofo was fast asleep on the bench, I feel guilty for putting her under this much stress

I let her rest and go into the ward to see my aunt.

Aunt was laying on the hospital bed with a drip connected to her vein, oxygen was being pumped into her lungs and a beeping machine beside her bed.

A tear slips down my face as I stand beside her

Her fair colour had paled and even tho she was asleep I could tell she wasn't Ok.

" Ewa " someone calls and I turn to see Kofo entering the ward

" Hey " I greet her

" How's she doing " she asks standing beside me and holding my hands

" she had an heart attack " I tell her with my voice barely audible

Kofo pulls me into a warm hug and I try to stop myself from crying

" You have to go to work in the morning, go home, I'll stay with her " she says with her voice breaking and I notice her eyes were red

" No, you go home I'll stay with her and go home to change in the morning "

" Ewa.... " she starts but I interrupt her

" Please go home, I promise I'll be fine, you can come back in the morning since I'll be at work all day " I plead with her because arguing was definitely not an option

" Ok " she agrees, reasoning with me

" Take care of yourself and I'll be bringing breakfast along for aunt in the morning so don't worry about what she'll eat " she hugs me before leaving

I drag a chair and sit beside my aunt holding her warm hands and laying my head beside her to rest a little but my eyes barely closed
