today's the big day. you were getting married to the guy you thought you loved. you two have been dating for 4 years and it was amazing. but, your heart still belonged to colson baker.
putting your dress on, you looked at yourself in the mirror. your hair was curled, nails were done, makeup looked good. the only thing that didn't look good was your frown on her face.
your best friend walked in, holding the flowers. turning around, you put a fake smile on.
"i know that smile. what's wrong?" she asked, rushing over to you.
"i don't want to marry him. i want my colson back. but i let him go because i got too insecure." you said, fluffing your dress.
she came over to hug you. you fell into the hug and held back your tears. she hugged you until it was time to go.
"you can tell him you're not in love with him. don't make a mistake that you can't come back from." she said, holding your hand.
you just nodded, heading towards the door. when you opened the door, your dad was standing there.
"hi dad." you said, hugging his tightly.
"are you ready?" he asked, pulling away slowly.
you nodded, wrapping your arm around his. the two of you started walking towards the venue and you stopped before you got to the isle.
"you ok?" your dad asked.
"i'm just nervous." you laughed, beginning to walk again.
when you got up to your future husband, he grabbed your hand. smiling, you walked to stand by him.
"you look amazing my love." he whispered to you.
"thank you." you whispered back.
when it was time to say your 'i do' there was a shout in the audience. everyone turned around and your eyes met colson.
"don't marry him, you're not happy with him." he said, walking slowly to you.
"colson?" you said, turning around fully.
"it's supposed to be you and me. not you and him. we're supposed to be getting married, not you and him."
you walked down the church stairs to get closer to him. your dad looked at the both of you and saw the love that was in your eyes when you looked at him.
"please don't give up on us. don't marry him, marry me. please baby." he said, taking your hands in his.
you looked back at the guy you were supposed to marry. giving him an apologetic look, he nodded.
"marry him. it's you and him." he said, smiling sadly.
looking back at colson, he smiled brightly at you and kissed you softly. he led you out of the church and took you to his car.
"i love you." colson said, watching you get in his car.
