you got home from school and immediately had to get started on your homework. your teacher assigned you this big project that was due tomorrow. typical teachers.
you pulled out the instructions and got to work. it wasn't the fact this this was a big project and that's what was stressing you out. it's the fact that everyone had a partner except for you.
"baby? what's all of this?" colson said, walking out of the bedroom.
"stupid project shit that's due tomorrow and everyone has a partner except for me because she REFUSED TO ASSIGN A GROUP OF 3!" you yelled, pulling at your hair.
colson sat down beside you and looked at the instructions paper. it was a history assignment that was about the battle of fort sumter.
"i'll help you." colson said, pulling out his phone. "we'll get this down today."
you shook your head and pulled your notes out. looking through them, he arraigned the stickers so the spell out "battle of fort sumter".
"look, it's beautiful!" he said, patting himself on the head.
you wrote down some facts on the poster board and glued pictures down that you had printed at school.
"it's finished! we make a good team." he said, making you laugh.
"thank you colson. i love you." you said and pulled him into a hug.
