you had just come home from a pretty good date. as you take your jacket off, you turn around and see colson sitting on the couch.
you jump a bit because you didn't expect see him. you giggle to yourself and make eye contact with him.
"thank god it's just you." you laugh a little again until you see his red puffy eyes.
your smile quickly disappeared as you look at him closer. his hand are placed on his knees and he had tear stains on his cheeks. the sight of colson broke your heart.
"how was your date?" he asks as his voice breaks.
he lowered his head more than it was before. you went over to sit on the couch and you left some space between the two of you.
"it was fine." you felt a bit guilty.
"i didn't know we were seeing other people." his voice cracks more than before.
he looks up and tries to find your eyes which are now looking at the floor.
"yea about that, how do you feel about it? are you ok with it?" you question.
"i have to be ok with it, don't i?" he managed to break out a low laugh but you could tell it was fake.
he looks up and you see the amount of pain he's in. your heart breaks even more.
