"I don't know why you won't go to the doctors just to make sure you are alright," Harry said, as I got back in the car. Of course Harry had gotten another beautiful car to drive us the four hours to California, I wouldn't have expected anything less from this man, at this point. He liked nice things, but he definitely wasn't some snob. He had taste. The top was down on the shiny black convertible, after I begged him to put it down so I could feel the wind in my hair, that allowed me to see and hear him as he pumped the gas. I turned my body so I could look back at him.
"I don't know why you are so concerned about it," I said, turning back forward and moving around to get comfy for the next two hours. After starting the gas Harry moved to his door opening it and setting down the bag of whatever he got from in the store. He twisted off the black top of my water bottle again and leaned over to hand it to me.
"Drink some more, please, you are looking a little flush." I took it, a smile on my face. He was truly always thinking about me. It warmed my soul and at the same time it broke my heart. This man loved me and for some reason that terrified me. He could still leave and want nothing to do with me. That was life.
"Thank you," I said, taking the water from his hand and taking a large drink of it, relishing in the feeling of the cold water on my sore throat. "I just don't really like going to the doctor. It's fine. I swear I am fine." I handed him back the bottle and he quickly put the lid back on as he shook his head.
"Okay. I will trust you, but any signs of this getting worse and you are going," he said, finishing with the gas and getting back in the car.
"Fine by me," I said. I knew it wouldn't get worse and we hopefully wouldn't have to talk about this again for a little while. I took my black sunglasses off the dash, placing them back on my face and sinking into my seat.
"My two hours are up," Harry said, turning to me.
"What?" I was confused as to what he was talking about.
"I wanted you to pick the music and you said we could split the four hours and you made me go first," he said, reminding me of the deal we made before leaving Vegas. I was really hoping he would forget about that and just play his music. I enjoyed listening to what he liked, it made me feel like I was learning a little more about him with each new song. He had such a varying taste, much like me, which I was happy about. "I want to listen to your playlist now."
"No, that's okay we can continue to listen to yours," I said, always nervous to show anyone the songs I like.
"You're funny. We made a deal," he said, giving me the cutest side eye.
"Fine. Fine." I raised my hands up in surrender before reaching for my phone and connecting to the car. I pulled up my playlist and began scrolling to find the perfect song to start with. Harry gave a cheeky smile before turning back forward and taking off back towards our destination. The familiar up beat notes began to fill the car as I quickly chose the perfect song for this moment.
"Candyman, Candyman. Sweet, sugar, candy man. I met him out for dinner on a Friday night," I began to sing along before the sound clicked off. My eyes flicked to the volume knob, Harry's fingers slowly moving from where he pushed the music off.
"It's trash radio," he said a cheeky smile on his face.
"Shut up, candy man," I said back, turning the volume back up as I continued to sing, but this time Harry joined in. This is exactly how I wanted to spend my life with him. Never caring, always just loving each other and having the time of our lives together.

Harry's POV
"Here we are," I said as I pulled up to my house in California. I've had many different houses in the span of time since 2010. I was constantly having to move, people always figuring out where I lived and no longer making it safe. I wouldn't worry too much, if people didn't actually break in. This house was fairly new to me. I was never super nervous about my safety but I was nervous for DJ's, bringing her into my world. But I also didn't want her anywhere else and I was glad she was with me.
