"Nevermind, I don't want to go, I'm just going to go to sleep, I'll be fine in the morning," I said, after Harry and I got redressed. I knew I was just being overdramatic, I was fine. And besides that I hated hospitals. Since the accident I didn't want to step in one again.

"DJ, you're going to the doctor. You have a fever and you are throwing up. You want to tell me now that you aren't sick?" I knew he was right. I did have a fever and chills. Any other time I would have sucked it up but the fever scared me. I didn't want it to get worse and do any harm. I knew I couldn't fight against it anymore. I had to go. I had to make sure everything was alright.

"Okay," was all I could get out. I felt weak and just exhausted at this point.

Harry's POV

"Are you sure you don't want me to just stay here?" I asked. I brought DJ to the nearest Urgent Care, glad she finally agreed to actually go, but I was worried. She looked so small and frail. They called her back and as she stood up she grabbed my hand to pull me with her.

"Do you not want to come?" She asked, looking down at me. Her words coming out sounding weak. I wasn't sure what was going on but I knew we would find out soon enough.

"Of course I do, I just wanted to make sure you were sure you wanted me to come with you back there."

"Come on," she said, as she tried to pull me up again. We followed the nurse into the small, light green room. It was cold and everything was stainless steel. The nurse prompted DJ to sit down on the medical bed and quickly took a sample of her blood before leaving the room.

"It'll all be okay," DJ said, as I felt my hand that was resting on her seated leg, being squeezed. I didn't realize I had drifted off in thought until I felt her skin on mine. I drew my eyes up from the ground and found hers. "Don't look so worried," she said, her eyes soft as they peered at me, "I'm fine, I promise." I softened my face and put on a smile for her. I knew she thought she was fine, but she didn't know that. She's always worried about everyone else and never herself. It was time someone worried about her. I loved her and would always worry.

It felt like forever before the doctor was finally walking in. "Good evening, Ms. Crist," the doctor said as she walked in, her head down in what I assumed was DJ's file. She had a short brown bob and cat eyed purple glasses. "How are you tonight?" She asked as she placed the file on the counter and took her white lab coat off, before turning to face us both. "Oh who is this you have here with you?" She said smiling at me.

"I'm doing okay," she said, her voice still weak, as she squeezed my hand again, that was still resting on her leg. "This is my boyfriend, Harry. We came in tonight because of my fever and just wanted to make sure everything is okay." The doctor nodded and walked over to the sink that was in the room and began to wash her hands.

"Yes, I read that in your file. We got your bloodwork back as well," she said, shutting off the water and grabbing a paper towel. "First things first, I am Dr.Breck but you can call me Tish. Very nice to meet both of you." She nodded to both of us as there was a knock on the door. The door slowly opened to reveal the same nurse that took DJ's vitals and blood, but this time she was pushing in some sort of machine. She parked it next to where DJ sat on the bed and left the room. I looked to DJ, her eyes wide. "It looks like you just have the flu but because of the fever, I just want to take a quick look at the baby, make sure everything is alright with the little one." My hand froze on DJ's leg as I realized what that machine was and why DJ had that reaction to it.

"Baby?" I questioned. I looked to DJ and it was almost as if she was frozen in shock, her eyes still wide at the machine.

"Yes, the blood work shows DJ is about twelve weeks along, the last week of her first trimester. I am the OBGYN on call tonight, that's why they sent me. I would have thought you both knew," Dr. Breck's eyebrows moved into a confused look. So many different thoughts were playing through my head. When I brought DJ here tonight, her being pregnant was the farthest thing from mind. "Ms.Crist are you doing okay?" My eyes turned from the doctor, and landed on my frozen girlfriend.
