Sam was still concerned about Kristina's previous reaction to whoever or whatever she just saw, but he decided that he wouldn't push the subject as it was her business and not his.
"Sam I think I may have found something," she told him, stumbling across a class picture in one of the yearbooks, it was of the first drama class and she recognized some of the names as characters from her musical.
"What?" He asked as he looked at the picture trying to understand what she had found. She then explained that she had seen all of these names in her script which couldn't be a coincidence.
"Were any of the characters in your production real people?" Sam asked and Kristina shrugged her shoulders as she didn't know the answer to that question. However, the more she thought about it the more sense it made.
"It's definitely possible," she told him at the same time her phone vibrated, she looked away from him to see who was calling her and to her relief she saw that it was Shela.
"Hey, we found something you should see," Shela said through the phone.
"So did we," Kristina responded.
"Write down everything that you found, and we will do the same, let's meet at Starbucks and discuss this situation further," She says. "Agreed?"
"Right," says Kristina as the two friends hung up. Shela turned to Dean ready to speak to him when she noticed the same man with a fedora standing in the corner. Suddenly, Shela could feel her mild asthma start attacking her as she was trying to breathe. The man had been staring at her for a while, she couldn't help but think that whatever it was did not look pleased. Her chest had started to hurt as she gripped the side of the table, the man with the fedora laughed evilly. Dean was going through the drawers writing down everything when he noticed that Shela was in pain. He sat his pencil and notepad down as he raced over to her worried.
"Shela?!" exclaimed Dean. "What's wrong?!"
"In the corner!" Shela spoke out. "There's something there!" But just as soon as it appeared it had vanished, and she found that she could finally breathe, and her chest wasn't hurting as much.
"Okay what was all that about?" asked Dean.
"Dean, don't just quickly finish jotting down the other two articles, and we can get out of here," says Shela who wanted to get out of the archives as fast as she possibly could.
"Right," says Dean as he grabbed the pencil and the notepad, he finished jotting down the articles and with that, they had quickly left to go and meet with Sam and Kristina. Shela was glad they had left otherwise who knew what was going to happen if they stayed there any longer. Shela and Dean got to the library lobby and met up with Sam and Kristina who were waiting at one of the outside tables. Shela however noticed that something was bothering her friend, she looked like she had seen a ghost. She had no room to talk though she probably looked the same way, even a mild asthma attack wasn't something to be taken lightly.
"You okay? You look pale," Dean pointed out and Kristina shot him a look of disapproval.
"I'm fine, so what did you find in the archives?" She asked as she wanted to focus on something other than what she saw.
"Old newspapers, this isn't the first time that murders happened, but the police left most of the cases open." Shela explained, she thought briefly wondering if she should explain the paranormal incident she had. However, the more she avoided it the more it felt like a festering sore, so she had to say something.
"I had a paranormal experience; I saw someone wearing a fedora." Shela explained and just thinking about it made her shiver. She didn't want to mention the pain she had felt and thought it would have been easier if she kept that a secret from Sam and Kristina. Dean became instantly concerned and grabbed her hand so she wouldn't freak out, he expected Kristina to lash out at him, but she didn't in fact she had hardly said anything since she had returned from the library.
