"I have a feeling I know who might be behind this," says Dean. He hated that his mind had wandered to it and wished that he wasn't correct. But instinct was much stronger than he had hoped for.
"You don't think it's..." says Sam as he trailed off. Shela and Dean locked eyes with each other as both had started to put the pieces together.
"Lucifer," they say at once.
"Why did you say his name?!" exclaims Kristina as worry flashed across her face. She hated hearing the name and the fact that it involved someone they regrettably knew was worse. Kristina sat up straight as Shela handed her water bottle to her, Kristina politely took it and unscrewed the cap taking a drink from it.
"Calm down," said Shela as the sun had started to set on the horizon. Later that night, as everyone was getting ready for bed, Shela had gone to her room and pulled out one of her Supernatural books titled Bone Key. She was in the middle of reading it when Dean entered the room noticing that Shela was reading one of the books.
"You have got to be kidding me," says Dean, "You mean to tell me there are books about me and Sam?"
"How is that surprising Dean?" Shela questioned "You and your brother fight evil,"
"Well people are making money off my brother and I," exclaims Dean. Shela Set the book down on her side table while Dean closed the door behind him.
"You know if Kristina catches you in here she'll jump on you," Said Shela.
"Don't remind me, she scares me half the time," answered Dean. "But I came in to check on you,"
"Thanks for that Dean," says Shela with a smile.
"What's her deal anyway?" asked Dean "Why is she so protective?" Shela let out a laugh knowing that he was going to ask the question sooner or later. "What's so funny?"
"She's protective of me because she doesn't want anyone to hurt me," responds Shela. "Know that she doesn't actually hate you Dean Winchester," As the two were having a conversation, Shela briefly glanced over at one of the corners and noticed the same man with a fedora. Her eyes widened as she backed away from Dean, Dean looked between Shela and the corner as the figure disappeared from her view.
"Shela? Are you okay?" asked Dean, concerned about her wellbeing.
"I thought I saw it again," Shela answered.
"What?" he questioned.
"The man with the fedora," she responds. "It was there then it vanished, only I didn't feel any pain,"
"Okay, tonight I'm keeping an eye on you," says Dean. "You aren't going to sleep in here alone,"
"I'm fine," spoke Shela.
"Understand?" asked Dean. Knowing that Dean was being protective of her she had nodded her head. "Okay good," Dean had briefly kissed Shela on the cheek as he got up and made his way out of the room to go and take a shower. Shela yawned and crawled under the covers upon setting her alarm for 6am, turning her lamp light off she laid her head down and fell asleep. Dean entered the room after getting out of the shower and smiled at the sight of Shela sleeping. Shrugging his shoulders, he closed the door and went to the other side of the bed where he climbed in next to her and fell asleep. Meanwhile, Sam had gone to check on Kristina since he didn't like the idea of leaving her alone especially after the incident. When he entered the room, she had been sitting on her bed in a somber way and wouldn't take her eyes off the medical bracelet on her wrist. Whatever attacked her had caused her to seize and she was incredibly ashamed about it.
"Sorry, is this a bad time?" He asked knocking on the door even though he was already standing in the room.
"Oh no you can come in," she said, Kristina gave him a sad smile however he knew it was fake he wasn't stupid, and she was upset about something. He sat down next to her and she tried to hide the bracelet from him, but it was too late since he had already noticed it.
"You don't have to hide that from me," Sam told her and for a moment she looked away from him.
"I'm sorry you probably think I'm weak after what happened," Kristina stated, she only shared personal information like that with someone she trusted, and it was clear that she felt that having something like this made her weak.
"I don't, if I'm being honest you may be the strongest person I know." He responded. Kristina looked at Sam with tears in her eyes. No man had ever told her that before and it made her feel happy.
"Thanks Sam," she answered, giving him a peck on the cheek.
"You should um get some rest.." He stammered, slightly embarrassed by her actions, Kristina briefly laughed at him.
"Pleasant dreams," she told him, practically kicking him out so she could get ready for bed. However, when she closed the door behind her, she leaned against it and smiled like she never had before. About six in the morning, Shela's alarm had gone off, making her groan. The night was slightly uneventful but the thing she saw last night was something to worry about. Whoever that man with the fedora seemed to only target her, she thought it would have been wise to ask her coworker about it later. Shela climbed out of bed carefully so she wouldn't wake Dean up, she made her way over to the closet where she started to get ready for the school. Once she was dressed, Shela grabbed her lavender XPLR backpack and left the apartment and headed to class. While they were on an investigation, she knew that she had to carry on with her studies otherwise she wouldn't be able to graduate.
Kristina was peacefully sleeping in her bed when she bolted awake after a terrible nightmare. She had dreamt that her best friend was going to be attacked by someone in a fedora. At that moment, a thought occurred to her as she got out of bed and pulled on a shirt and shorts, she raced to Shela's room and pushed the door open to see that Dean was sleeping on her friend's bed. However, Shela was nowhere to be found, she walked over to Dean and grabbed him by the ankles. Kristina dragged Dean onto the floor, causing him to land on his back with a loud thud.
"Ah! What the hell?!" Dean yelled.
"Dean Winchester! Get up!" she exclaimed as her protective side came out. Sam ran in at the same time wondering what the noise was about only to see Dean sprawled on the floor.
"Doesn't mean you drag me by the ankles," said Dean, though he looked around and noticed that Shela was nowhere to be found. "And where's Shela?"
"Dean did you do something again?" Sam said with a chuckle.
"I didn't do anything," defended Dean. "Why did you drag me out of bed Kristina Cossa?"
"Because I had a nightmare, I think Shela may be in danger," says Kristina worriedly. "And to answer your previous question, she went to class and her class is in the library right ACROSS from the theatre,"
