"If you wanted to be alone with her, all you had to do was ask." Sam said as he left the room with a huge smile on his face, this left the two of them very embarrassed and decided to not talk about what had just happened. Later while Dean was walking through the hallway he overheard Kristina and Sam talking. Call him paranoid but he felt like he had to eavesdrop on what they were saying in case Kristina decided she would lock him in a wardrobe after what just happened.
"Sorry about Dean, he can be a little overbearingly blunt." Sam explained and Dean heard Kristina laugh.
"A little?" She joked making Sam laugh which both shocked and delighted Dean as his brother hardly ever laughed. Let alone smiled because the two of them were so busy fighting monsters and trying not to die.
"Okay a lot but he's really not that bad once you get to him," Sam explained and Kristina's response surprised Dean as he was under the impression she didn't like him.
"I know and he's got great hair," Kristina said, and Sam couldn't help but be jealous of his brother at that moment because it seemed like he always got the women.
"He always gets the women," Sam complained, and Kristina laughed at him.
"Are you jealous?" She teased and he shook his head in denial.
"No need you're my favorite, I got to get ready for rehearsal, see you later." Kristina said leaving the room and almost running smack into Dean.
"Oh sorry," she apologized
"It's fine, you know I've never seen him this happy and for what it's worth I'm sorry too." Dean responded and she looked at him to see if he was being honest which she saw he was.
"I know," she then began walking away and grabbed her script and water bottle on the way out.
"I know about the kiss by the way and my statement from earlier still stands." She finished as she walked out the door leaving Dean quite pale. While Kristina was on her way to band practice, Shela, Dean and Sam had been busy trying to figure out what was going on throughout the campus. Shela had felt like something was off, it was like something was telling her that there is more to this mystery than she thought in the beginning.
"There has to be something I'm missing here," Sam said, looking through the newspapers about the murderers to find a connection with the victims. Besides being in theater as most of the attacks had been happening there or around there.
"Sammy staring at it, isn't going to tell you the answer." Dean remarked and in response he threw one of the papers at him to get him to shut up.
"Ow!" Dean complained as the paper hit him. Shela had started pacing around the room trying to picture what had been happening. She didn't want to think about what happened earlier, but her thoughts could not stray away from what happened. An idea suddenly struck her as she raced past Dean and Sam to her room. Dean looked at his brother with confusion as he got up and raced after her, Sam followed pursuit.
"Shela?" says Dean. "What's the deal?"
"Something occurred to me Dean," Shela said as she opened a drawer with at least six leather journals. Dean and Sam's mouths dropped open as they saw Shela bring out one of the journals.
"Um... I take it you love writing?" says Sam.
"It is my major," responds Shela. "But this isn't the case, I have an obsidian crystal that I use to meditate with," she continued. "But it's also given me a few messages here and there, whenever I have a message I tend to write it down in my journal, ah here it is!" Shela pulled out a leather journal with a wraparound key lock and sat on her bed, flipping through it she stumbled across the most recent message.
"What is it?" asked Dean.
"I think I figured it out," said Shela. "From the fedora to the young man I saw near the sales theatre, there are two stones behind the theatre and one of the stones is of our spirit friend in the elevator," she continued. "That was the one I saw earlier, he must have gotten out of the theatre to come and find us,"
"Meaning?" asked Sam.
"Meaning, the evil spirit we're dealing with is the one right next to the elevator ghost," answers Shela.
"Does this evil spirit have a name?" Sam asked as he still didn't quite get the connection.
"Not really his name is scribbled off and the only letters you can see are S.A.R.A.H," Shela explained, suddenly, realization dawned on her as she nearly fell over.
"Wow easy," Dean said ready to catch her if she lost her balance, Shela then explained how she had once had a friend by that name and she had had actually said two bad names three times and Shela couldn't bring herself to repeat them.
"What does this mean?" Sam asked with concern in her voice as this day just kept getting stranger and freakier. He was also starting to wonder if Lucifer himself was involved in this somehow.
"I think that this spirit is one of those names of king of hell and his right-hand man," Says Shela "Sarah is in the theater and all of the attacks have happened there, or around." She continued "What if this spirit is going after people so Sarah can have the spotlight?" Shela asked and at the exact moment Sam's eyes widened as he got up from the bed and ran out of Shela's bedroom. Shela and Dean looked at each other with confusion and sat the leather journal down. They ran out after Sam and as he was about to head for the door Dean called out to him.
"Sammy? Is everything okay?" he questioned.
"Kristina is in danger! She just left for rehearsal," exclaims Sam. Meanwhile, Kristina was almost to the Sales Theatre as she figured that practicing would take her mind off things. However, her ears began to ring. Kristina was trying her best to stop the ringing, but nothing seemed to work as she started to feel sick to her stomach, "Oh no!" she thought to herself. "I'm about to get attacked!" Kristina found that she could not speak, and her arms began to shake, suddenly she fell onto her back and blacked out but in the distance she could hear a voice.
"All too easy, perhaps you're not as strong as I thought," the voice taunted. Shela and the Winchester brothers had arrived just in time for Shela to see the spirit.
"No!" Shela exclaimed as she allowed her shield to extend toward her best friend. As the shield started to form around Kristina, when the spirit looked up and saw the Winchesters and Shela it hissed knowing fair well that it's attack would be ineffective. "Dean! Right by the stairs! Hurry!" Dean turned and saw the spirit and immediately sprang into action, using an iron pipe that he had swung at the spirit dissipating it, the attack on Kristina had ceased Shela turned toward Sam. "Sam, get Kristina back to the apartment now!" Sam nodded his head as he raced over and picked Kristina up bridal style, Shela and Dean stayed back to give Sam enough time. The spirit reappeared and stood on a brick wall and laughed evilly while it looked at Shela and Dean.
"You can't protect them forever Dean Winchester!" it said and turned toward Shela. "Especially that one! Those two are more important than you may think!" The spirit ran at Dean, Seeing his chance, he sliced through the spirit with the iron pipe giving them a chance to take off back to the apartment. Half an hour later Kristina had woken up with no memory of what just happened.
"Ah my head hurts," Kristina groaned and rubbed her forehead trying to stop the pain.
"Oh, thank goodness you're okay," says Shela "If you scare me like that again I will kill you!" She exclaimed.
"Um I'm kind of getting mixed messages here," Kristina responded, and it didn't take long for her to figure out what had just happened.
"I was attacked, wasn't I?" She asked and before anyone could answer she continued talking, "I think there is more going on here than we thought." She finished.
