Chapter 17 A Snow Date....Kinda..

Lot's of time had past since the small adventures Miu and Deidara had faced in the forests. Both of their health was restored, all injuries were healed, and all of their happiness was back. The weather outside was cold and covered in a blanket of white. It had been snowing the last few weeks but not in a blizzard like way.

Miu and Deidara had only grown closer to each other. Deidara only smiled when Miu followed him with her little kitty plushie. One hadn't been seen without the other. The two ate their meals together and spend their down time with each other. The only time they were seen apart is when Deidara had a mission or when the two went to bed.

However, Miu sometimes snuck into Deidara's bed when she felt lonely, scared, or had a nightmare. Whenever she did this Deidara just smiled and wrapped his arms around her protectively. He never tried making a move on Miu though. She was still far too young in angel years, so he would wait for the appropriate time before even attempting anything.

Today Deidara had the day off and he had something special planned for him and Miu. He walked towards Miu's room with a smile on his face and something hidden behind his back. Miu sat on her bed playing with Mr. Meow Mou. Her closet door was barricaded by the dresser so monsters couldn't try to take Miu again.

"Oh Miu-Chan~" Deidara said happily while peeking threw the crack in Miu's door.

"Dei-Kun!" Miu said happily and jumped off her bed.

She ran over to the door and opened it the rest of the way showing her big bright smile. Deidara chuckled and held out his hands showing a light green fuzzy scarf and a warm looking white cloak as bright as Miu's angel wings.

"Put them on un, it's cold outside."

"Ok Dei-Kun!" Miu said happily and took them before putting them on.

The cloak's sleeves were a bit long so you couldn't see Miu's hands and the cloak stopped at her ankles but made it seem like you couldn't see her hands. The scarf that was wrapped around her covered a small portion of her face so you could only see her nose and up. Miu then picked up Mr. Meow Mou and hugged him smiling looking like the world's cutest 19 year old girl.

And Deidara couldn't take it anymore. As a faint blush appeared on his face he lunged himself at Miu and gave her a big hug.

"Your so cute un!"

Miu blushed slightly from what Deidara said and the fact that he hugged her so suddenly, making her look that much more adorable. Deidara hugged a bit tighter and Miu tried pushing away since he was hugging so tight.

"Miu-Chan can't breathe Dei-Kun!"

Deidara snapped out of his small fanboy moment and let Miu go, blushing slightly more only this time from embarrassment.

"S-Sorry un.."

"It's ok Dei-Kun." Miu said with a closed eye smile and it took all Deidara had to restrain himself from hugging her again.

The two went outside and Deidara lead the way to a village where the two went shopping for some clothes for Miu. It took a lot to convince Kakuzu to get the money but in the end everything worked out in Deidara's favor. Miu got some new bras and undies as well as shirts, pants, and new ninja shoes. They even found a light pink long sleeved shirt like the one Miu had before.

After they paid for everything the two headed out of the store just when Miu's stomach began to rumble.

"....Dei-Kun~"

"Let me guess, your hungry un?"

"Yeah!" Miu said happily and Deidara chuckled.

"What are you hungry for hm?"
