  "Man, this looks ridiculous on me." Yuugo complained while fixing his tie.

  "Really?"

  "You guys are tall enough that it looks good on you. I, on the other hand...." Yuugo grumbled and tugging on the riding uniform jacket.

  "Really? But they say 'clothes make the man'."

  "They also say 'clothes should reflect who you are'."

  "Yuugo, we basically have the same face, please stop insulting yourself."

  "'Basically' doesn't mean it is the same. The differences are what makes this ridiculous on me and fine on you. You don't have clunky glasses, either."

  "I also didn't strain my eyes a bunch." I pointed as we were walking out to where the others were waiting.

  "Crap, crap, crap.... I can't believe I have to do this in front of so many people!"

  "Yo!"

  "Ah, Ookawa."

  "Ookawa! We're in trouble! Please give us some advice!"

  "Oh, all right." Ookawa cleared his throat before looking at us. "You're all worthless! So what if you're Homo sapiens of the Primate order and Hominidae family? Your species' name may sound grand, but horses are far superior in physical ability! Without horses, Hokkaido would never have been developed! Our beloved Ooezo Agricultural High School would never have come into existence! Horses are the foundation of all things! They are gods! You can all just sit astride those noble beings- no, be allowed to sit astride them, and let them handle the rest! Got that, you worthless worms?!"

  "I'm sorry I was born...."

  "I'm a worthless maggot...."

  "Ah, so to summarize, just trust in your horse as you do in practice. Once you jump over one obstacle, look at the next obstacle. Then your horse will figure things out and guide you." Buddha-sensei said calmly.

  "Oh, yeah, that. That's what I wanted to say."

  "You there! Uh, Roku...."

  "It's Hachi, okay?! Hachi!" Yuugo yelled at the blond on the pale white horse.

  "It appears Aki Mikage has fled in terror from this division, so I've chosen to focus on you, instead!" She grinned but was pointing at me. "Huh? I thought you had glasses."

  "Wrong Hachiken." I pointed to Yuugo as he stood next to me and was covering his face with the jumping competition's guidebook.

  "There's two?! How low of you to use a stunt double!"

  "Yuuno's not my stunt double! She's my sister!"

  "Then both of you watch my glory!" The blonde had the horse walk to the starting point as she obnoxiously laughed.

  "What did you do?"

  "She's just some girl Mikage went to middle school with. She initially challenged Mikage."

  "Isn't Mikage in the B division, not C?"

  "Yeah."

  "Start." The announcer called out from the speakers when the red flag was waved. The blonde was still laughing so loudly as her horse stopped in front of the first jump.

  "Oh! A refusal from the start!" Yuugo looked close to laughing until the horse lept. The blonde and her horse continued around the course at a rather slow pace.
