Chapter 6

Next day
Naveah

I woke up feeling bingo arms wrapped tight around my waist I slowly removed his hand so I could get up to pee. I pulled the covers back on him making my way into the restroom. I did my business then washed my hands walking out. I headed straight for the kitchen Turning the stove on. I was gonna go head n start breakfast. I pulled out the bacon, eggs n pancake mix. I layed my skillets on the stove allowing them to warm up.

2 hours later

After breakfast me n bingo jus layed around in the living room cuddled up. I haven't heard from Ms.Yolanda to see when she was bringing jj back yet. She should call within the next hour or 2.

"Bae?"
"Hmm?" I answered looking over at him.
"U kno I love u right ?" He asked looking into my eyes.
"Yeah.." I said looking away. He immediately grabbed me pulling me into his chest.
"That don't sound to convincing" he said reaching for my hand kissing it.
"I kno u love me bingo dang" I said playfully rolling my eyes.
"Yeah u betta kno it" he says as we both settled back into the t.v.

Ace p.o.v

I woke up stretching out my arms. I looked around to see I had fell asleep at the studio again I been taking my music shit serious I want to create a better life for me and my son. I grabbed my phone looking at the time. 12:45pm guess I'll head to the house n shower n prolly come back up here later on. I opened the door to the room heading towards the exit. On the way out I passed Bundy the owner of the studio.
"Aye Man U gone?" He asked me
"Yeah imma be back later jus save what I already recorded" I told him dapping him up.
"Aigh man I gotchu" he told me walking away. I made my way to the bus stop that was a few blocks away waiting on it to come. Man it was hot as shit outside.

10 min later

I arrived home opening the door to my moms house. I smelt food cooking n crying so I assumed it was either my niece and nephew. I made my way into the kitchen seeing my mom making breakfast.
"Wassup ma " I greeted her. She turned around smiling giving me a hug.
"Hey baby... ooo u smell u must've fell asleep at that doggon studio again huh?" She questioned pulling away from the hug. I laughed before answering
"Yes ma I'm finna go shower now" I told her pulling away.
"Hey uncle jarod " my niece Kali said getting up to hug me.
"Hey Kali " I said hugging back picking up my nephew Tank as he started laughing. Kali n tank were my older brother Jah's kids jerrell didn't have any yet. I placed him onto his feet before heading into the bathroom. After my shower I headed to my room to get dressed. Once I was fully clothed I went back into the kitchen once I turned the corner I seen my mom at the stove with a baby on her hip it had a full head of hair.
"Ma whose baby u got?" I asked sitting at the table with Kali n Tank. She placed the spoon down turning around Sitting the baby up right I looked closer knowing exactly who it was.
"This is Lil jj" she said smiling at me rubbing on his tummy as he looked around. I jus stared at him reaching out for him as my mom brought him to me. As she carefully placed him in my arms i stared at him in awe they wasn't lying he looks jus like me. It got quiet in the room as I held my baby for the first time. My mom wiped a tear I didn't kno I had shed across my face. Mane it was nights in my cell I dreamed of this moment. I picked him up holding him upright so I could examine him. I placed him down again holding him tight.
"When did u go get him?" I asked referring to jj.
"Las nigh" she responded turning of the stove making everyone's plates. Soon my brothers came waltzing in from only God knows where.
"Gmorning momma" they both said kissing her cheek.
"Good morning y'all" she said handing Kali n tank their forks.
"Ohh shit Ace done met lil ace " Jerrell said taking his seat. I jus smiled down at him.
"Boy quit that cursing in here " my mom said hitting him.
"Daddy!!" Jah kids screamed getting up to hug him.
"So how does it feel baby brother?" Jah asked sliding a piece of bacon in his mouth.
"Man it feel good I finally got to see him" I said softly smiling.
"Veah kno u seen him?" He asked
"No I don't think so it doesn't even matter" I told him as jerrell reached for him. I kinda jus looked at him having a protective stance over him. Jj had his head in the crook of my neck.
"Bro I ain't tryna take him from u lemme see him" he told me. I looked around the room as everybody stared at me. I finally agreed handing him over.
"Boy we his family too" my mom told me handing me my plate of food.
"She let u get him a lot ?" I asked my mom sliding a spoon full of eggs in my mouth.
"Yeah she lets me get him when that damned bf of hers ain't trippin" she said.
"Whatchu mean?" I asked.
"He's one of them insecure ass niggas he kno veah still got love for u so he tries to shut us out" Jah told me.
"Hmm imma have to talk to her about it " I said getting up to put my plate in the sink.
"Jarod I don't think that's a good idea she jus let started letting me get him again" my mom pleaded.
"Well I'm his daddy n ain't nobody finna keep him from me I've already missed a lot " I said grabbing him from Jerrell walking off  to my room.

A couple hours later

I watched as my son slept. He been sleep for about 30 min now. I turned my game on sitting in front of the t.v. Moments later my mom came knocking on the door.
"Jarod hunny I have to get ready to take him home" she told me as I gave her a look.
"Tell her u want to keep him longer" I said.
"I can't she made it it clear I can only keep him for 1 night" she pleaded.
"I'm his  daddy if I want to keep him I will" I told her.
"Jarod plz I will talk to her n maybe we can work something out I don't want her to take him from us" she said. I turned and looked at him before nodding my head.
"Ok but I'm going with u" I told her.
"Fine lemme go get his bag" she said walking out the room. She came back handing me his bag.
