Chapter 11

Jarod P.O.V

It's been about 2wks since I've talked to veah or let her see jj. She keeps calling me and my momma to see him but ion kno I'm still mad. She definitely can't come around if she still wit dat nigga. Rn I'm getting me and jj ready I gotta go to the studio tonight but imma take him wimme. Ian realize how much it was to raise him on my own but he's worth it. I slid him in his stroller buckling him up. I wheeled him out my room cutting my light out. Ian have the whip today so we gon walk. I headed to the kitchen to get him some juice.

"Jarod where y'all going?" She asked coming out her room.
"To the studio" I told her opening his cup pouring his juice inside.
"Jarod is it ok for him to be there?" She asked reaching down fixing his hat.
"Yeah Ma he good" I told her twisting the top to his sippy cup handing it to him.
"Ok well y'all be careful call me if I need to come get him I don't want him there all night" she told me.
"Aigh" I said putting the juice back in the refrigerator.
"U talk to yo Babymomma?" She asked.
"No" I said scrunching up my face. She jus shook her head walking off. My Ma think I'm wrong for not letting Veah see jj but oh well this my son now she see how it feels. It ain't gon be like this forever I'm jus still mad. I pushed the stroller out the house heading down the street to the studio.

20min later

We made it to the studio. I immediately walked straight to the back to where I would be recording at. Bundy my producer was already here.
"Wassup man" I said sitting down pulling jj out his stroller sitting him in my lap.
"Wassup Ace man word round town is u hott rn" He said reaching over dapping me up.
"Man dat lil shit?? I got into wit my bm n ha Nigga u kno me Ion be goin fa dat lame shit" I told him.
"I see nigga they said u shot every window innat bitch" he said laughing slightly.
"Hell yuh nigga my ass blacked out" I told him remembering the feeling I got seeing Naveah's face. Ian gon lie I still love her ass but I don't think she would ever give me a chance. Guess she really love dude ass.
"Damn Ace Man U still crazy asf" he told me. I laughed getting up to head in the booth with jj in my arms. Ian need pen n paper most of my shit freestyle anyways.

Naveah P.O.V

"Maya I don't think this is gonna work" I pleaded as I watched her type Jarod's name in the search bar on Instagram.
"Well veah this is how all the rappers are now they post everything they do so all we gotta do is wait n we will find him" she said humping her shoulders.
"I guess" I said leaning back into the couch.
"Well u don't want to pop up at his momma house so this is ur only option" she told me handing me her phone getting up. I've been at maya house for the las couple of weeks after Jarod left me n bingo got into a huge fight so I left n never went back. He's been blowing up my phone he even stopped by here a couple times looking for me. He made me lose jj n I jus can't get wit that. I believed Jarod when he said he would never let me see jj again he's actually crazy but I want to see my baby tho that's y maya is helping me. Soon a notification came in that Jarod went live.
"MAYA!" I called. She quickly came grabbing the phone clicking the live.
"Nigga Stfu" we heard Jarod tell somebody in the back. It looked like he was in a booth so I'm assuming he's at the studio.
"Who here on my shit?" He asked looking into the camera.
"Wassup Maya" he said nodding at the camera sliding one side of his headphones back on.

Maya quickly typed.
"Aye ace yo baby jus woke up" somebody said in the background handing him jj. I smiled seeing my baby.
"Wassup lil ace u up now?" He said holding jj up right wiping his face.
"Say Wassup live" he said turning him around so we could see him. Jj looked around sitting in his dads lap.
"Ok Jarod got my nephew looking tight" she said.
"Ikr" I said looking how dressed up my baby was.
"Ok so he's at the studio so let's pull up" she said clicking off his live.
"Maya I dunno bout this" I told her looking down.
"Gurl do u want to see ur baby or not?" She asked getting up going into her room.
"I mean yeah" I said getting up following behind her.
"Ok so we're going I mean what's the worse that could happen". I mean maya was right wouldn't hurt to try.
"Ok go get ready" she said shooing me towards the bathroom. I forgot I still was in my night clothes.
"Fine" I said walking out grabbing my clothes heading for the bathroom. I quickly changed my outfit grabbing my toothbrush brushing my teeth. I took in my features my face still swollen n my lip was starting to go down. I washed my face grabbing my clothes heading into the living room.
"U ready?" She asked scrolling on her phone.
" Yeah" I said putting my clothes in my basket grabbing my shoes. We made it to the car getting inside. I felt my phone buzz looking down to see it was bingo I quickly declined it.
Answer the fucking phone!
I rolled my eyes sliding my seatbelt on.
"Ok so I think it's the studio off Vernon" she bagging out of the parking space.

We made it to the studio parking the car.
"Ok so veah lemme do all the talking" she said getting out as I followed behind her. We walked in immediately seeing ppl everywhere n a long hallway.
"Ok let's split up u look on this side I'll look on that side" she said pointing. I nodded walking off opening each room door. After the third door I felt somebody tap my shoulder. I slowly turned around looking at them.
"What u looking for?" He questioned I immediately took in his features a big black bald guy he kinda looked scary.
"Umm well..." I trailed looked down at my shoes.
"Naveah there u are! I've found they room gurl" she said quickly pulling me away as I sighed in relief. We walked into the room seeing everybody turned n looked at us as the music stopped. We could see Jarod in the booth quickly looking up locking eyes with me.
"What u doing here?" He asked bitterly.
"We need to talk" I said. As he took the headphones off coming out the booth.
"Cmon" he said grabbing me pulling me outside.
"Wassup?" He said folding his arms.
"U kno y I'm here I came to see jj" I said.
"He ain't here" he told me.
"Jarod don't play no games wimme where is my baby?" I told him.
"Say what did I tell u?" He asked unfolding his arms pointing his finger.
"Jarod I'm his mother u can't jus keep him from me I'm not here to take him I jus wanna see him" I pleaded.
"Well he ain't here my momma jus came n got him" he told me.
"U still wit dat nigga?" He questioned.
"No I left him I stay wit maya now" I said quickly.
"Aigh well I guess stop by my moms tomorrow" he told me.
"Ooooo Thank u thank u" I said quickly hugging him. He stood there froze but eventually gave me a slight hug back. I kinda felt a spark between us.

"Veah u good?" Maya asked peeking out the room.
"Yes I'm ok" I said pulling away.
"Alright we'll let's go bye ace" Maya said grabbing my arm as I quickly waved.
