Chapter 5

Saturday
Veah p.o.v

"Bae guess what" I said jumping on him as he sat on the couch watching t.v. He turned his head looking at me.
"What happened?" He questioned sitting up.
"Jj started crawling today" I said all excited
"Really?" He asked
"Yes my baby growing up so fast" I told him.
"That's good but I'm mad I missed it" he said looking disappointed.
"Awee baby don't look like that I'm sure u will catch him next time"
"Yeah I hope so" he told me pulling me into his chest. I smiled leaning back.
"U kno I was thinking maybe we should have a baby of our own soon" he told me. I tensed up. I didn't respond I jus continued to look down.
"U hear me?" He asked nudging me.
"Mmhmm" I responded.
"Aye look at me" he said Turning my head to look up at him. I looked up seeing him staring down at me.
"U mus not want to have a baby wit me or sum?" He questioned.
"No it's not that it's jus-" I tried to explain
"So what u can have a baby by that lame ass nigga Jarod but not me he not even here for y'all I've been here helping u raise jj" I sat up frightened.
"Bingo calm down I didn't say that" I told him reassuringly.
"NAhh but that's what u meant" he said jumping up from the couch.
"Bingo plz can we not do that right now" I said getting up.
"Yeah that's what it is u gon leave me as soon as he gets out righ?" He said pushing me.
"No bingo I love u" I told him grabbing his arm.
"No u don't quit lying" he said yanking his arm way pushing back down on the couch. I sighed remaining seated. He grabbed his keys rushing out the door. A tear fell down from my face as I quickly wiped it away. I turned the t.v off going to check on baby jj. I walked into his room peeking into his crib. My baby was sound asleep with his hair all over the place. He had so much hair like his dad I need to do some wit it but he's so tender headed so I leave it be. I kissed his cheek heading out of his room. I made my way into me and bingo bedroom grabbing my pajamas so I can take a shower. I set my clothes down turning the shower on. I stripped out my clothes pulling the curtains back climbing inside. I let the water slowly hit my face. I lathered up my towel rubbing every inch of body. I washed off 2 times before getting out drying off. I lotioned up my body then putting my clothes on. After I was dressed I brushed my teeth then turned the light out. I made my way to my bed slowly climbing inside pulling the covers over myself. Tommorow I would have a long day ahead of me. Jarods mom wants me to bring jj by so she can see him.

Next Day

I sighed waking up seeing the other side of the bed was still Empty. Bingo never came home las nigh. I wonder where he could be. My mind wondered to the worse. I brushed the thoughts away getting up to go check on jj. I entered his room making my way to his crib seeing him still sound asleep. I picked him up laying him in my arms. I carried him back to my room sitting down. I layed him down in our bed climbing under the covers cuddling with him. I heard light rain coming from outside. I guess me and the baby won't be going anywhere today. Moments later he Began to stir awake fussing. I Laughed at him as he made a face deciding to take a picture of him.

After I posted the picture I sat my phone down on the night stand pulling the covers back over us. We eventually fell right back to sleep.

1 hour later

I stirred awake seeing bingo walk through the door in his same clothes from yesterday.
"Hey" I said as a yawn escape my mouth.
"Wassup" he said grabbing him some clothes heading to the bathroom. After his shower he came out climbing into bed right next to us . He picked up jj laying him on his chest. I slowly leaned over into his chest as he wrapped his arm around me as well. I turned the t.v  on getting comfortable. After a couple of movies I got a phone call from Ms.Yolanda which is Jarods mom.
"Hello?" I answered sitting up
"Hey Naveah I thought u were gonna bring my grandson by?" She asked
"Uhh I was but it was raining n I didn't feel like getting out"
"Awee ok well I wanted to see him I'm gonna have my other grand kids tonight n wanted him to be here as well" she told me.
"Ok well I'll bring him by then" I told her
"Ok good so u can have a lil break for the night" she told me.
" Alright I'll see u later" I told her.
"Ok bye bye" she said hanging up. I ended the call sitting my phone back down.
"Who was that?"  bingo questioned playing with jj. I hesitated before I answered him.
"That was Yolanda" I answered. Bingo rolled his eyes
" what she want?" He asked placing jj paci back into his mouth.
" She wants jj to come spend the night over there" I told him.
"That's too bad cuz he ain't going" he told me.
"What u mean? I already told her he was coming" I told him.
"Idc what u told her he ain't going like I said" he said raising his voice.
"Bingo that's his granny she has a right to see him we can't jus keep her from him" I pleaded with him.
"Idc he don't need her or her family he has me n mines my mother will gladly step in like she already has" he said humping his shoulders. I rolled my eyes placing a hand on my forehead.
"So what am I spose to tell her?" I questioned.
"U kno what do w.e u want since u act like I can't make a decision for him I may not be his real father but I shol as hell been here like I was." He said handing me jj who started to fuss I carefully picked him up caressing him.
"Bingo nobody is saying that I'm jus saying we can't keep her from him she has rights too" I told him.
"Yeah I guess do what u want but she has to come get him n he can only stay one night" he said sternly. I nodded my head agreeing. I texted her that she would have to come pick jj up n she said it was fine. I got up going to run jj a bath. After I bathed him put his clothes on in our room. After I put his socks on lotioning his body I handed him to bingo. I made my way into his room packing him a bag.

30 min later

She texted me that she was outside so I grabbed jj car seat n bag heading outside. I opened the backseat sliding his car seat inside securing his seat then placing his bag on the floor shutting the door. I walked to the driver side door saying my goodbyes thanking her. She waved bagging out the parking space leaving out the apartments. I wonder if my b.d gon be there. I sighed heading back into the house. I opened the front door seeing bingo rummaging through the kitchen droors. 
"What u looking for"I asked him as I shut the door behind me locking it.
"The Pizza Hut number" he answered
"It's in the other droor" I told him watching him turn around n opened the other droor pulling the number out. He ordered the pizza as we sat in the living room waiting for it to come. For the rest of the night we watching movies n cuddled.
