Chapter 3

6:15am
Thursday
Veah p.o.v

I was woke up from my sleep hearing the bathroom water running. Bingo mus be up for work. I got up going to check on jj who was still sound asleep. I headed to the kitchen to make bingo a quick breakfast for when he gets out the shower. I made him a bacon n egg sandwich to go since he wouldn't have time to eat it here. I folded the sandwich into sum foil placing it on the counter. I cleaned up the few dishes before heading back into the bedroom Jus in time to see bingo walk out the restroom.
"Morning baby" he said leaning down to kiss my forehead.
"Good morning baby" I responded back. We walked out of the room heading to the front door.
"Bae I made u a sandwich" I told him grabbing it handing it to him.
"Thank u" he said kissing me before rushing out the door. I sighed. Guess I'll get my day started. I changed into my regular clothes before I started cleaning up. I cleaned both bathrooms then I vacuumed and dusted the living room. By the time I was finished jj had started crying which means he was up. I went to his room to grab him bringing him into the living room. I made him sum oatmeal before sitting him in his high chair to feed him.
"U so handsome baby" I said making faces at jj while feeding him. He was jus giggling n drooling.
"U mommy's fat man huh yes u is" I said in my baby voice. After he finished his oatmeal I wiped him off then picking him placing him in his walker. I finished cleaning up the house before finally sitting down turning on the t.v.

12:15pm

I had jus put jj down for a nap n was now gonna sit down n read a book. I've always liked reading because it's an escape for me sometimes. That's how I was real good at English in high school because I read a lot. I sat down in the living room  putting on my reading glasses n cracking open my book. About 10 min into my book I hear my phone ring. Ugh u got to be kidding me. I  placed a mark in my book before reaching over grabbing my phone off the coffee table.
Unknown
Who could this be I thought? So I answered the phone

Me- hello?
Unknown- You have a collect call from Jarod Bullard. Do u accept the charges?
Me-Yes
Jarod-hello
Me-Hey
Jarod-What's up man
Me- Wassup
Jarod- Wyd? Where ma lil jit ?
Me- He's asleep n I'm cleaning up
Jarod-dats wassup heard u got a new nigga
Me- yes I do Jarod what does it matter to u? N who u hear that from
Jarod- Dont worry about that n shid it got everythang  to do wimme u got this nigga around my child.
Me- yo child??? Las time I check u been in Jail my whole pregnancy n the past 8months
Jarod-Aye y u gotta be actin like that? U kno wtf it was wit dat y u keep throwing dat shit in my face u kno i wanted to be there for y'all
Me-Because u wasn't there.. I did it all alone if it wasn't for that "nigga" u talkin bout n yo momma me n ur son wouldn't have nun.
Jarod-I kno n I'm sorry ok like damn I wanna make this right but when I get out I want me and u to be together me u and the baby Aigh.
Me-well we cant always get what we want in life I've moved on n I'm happy.
Jarod-is u serious veah?
Me- yeah
Jarod-well we gon see when I get out won't we
Veah-we will
Jarod- Aight well imma call u in a few days tell my son I love him.

I ended the call setting my phone down on the couch. So this phone call would be a regular thing now. Bingo would kill me if he found out I talk to Jarod. This means I would have to be extra careful he could not find out. I sighed getting up going to check on baby JJ who was still Sleep. Maya had asked me to watch amoura while she goes to work.
She gon drop her off around 1. Jj has been sleeping to0 long so I decided to wake him up so he could eat. I made us both pbnj sandwiches. We both sat in the dining room eating when I heard a knock at the door. I got up going to answer it.
" who is it" I asked knowing who it was.
"Moura" I heard amoura's tiny voice yell.I laughed as I opened the door seeing maya n amoura.
"Hey y'all" I said letting them in. Amoura ran inside going straight to the living room where baby jj toys were layed out on the floor. She picked one up n began playing with it.
"Ok I gotta go but here's her bag her dad will pick her up when he gets off" she said handing me her bag.
"Ok" I said
"Love u Moura be good n thanx again gurl" she said hurrying out the door. I sat her bag down on the couch before heading to check on jj. He had finished his sandwich with jelly running from his face.
"U made a mess huh boy?" I said grabbing a wet paper towel wiping his face n hands. I picked him up from the high chair taking him to the living room. I sat down Turning the t.v on placing him in his walker. I heard the front door  open looking over seeing Bingo walk in shutting the door behind him. He went straight to the bedroom. Hmm that's odd he normally speaks when he comes in. I told Amoura to sit tight while I went to check on bingo. I walked into our bedroom seeing him sitting at the foot of the bed with his face in his hands. I sat down next to him rubbing his back.
"U ok bae?" I asked him softly
"Yeah I'm jus tired" he said looking up at me staring into my eyes.
"Awee baby well imma run u a bath then give u a massage ok?" I told him watching him take his work vest off leaning back across the bed. I went to the bathroom running his water before making my way into the living room to check on the kids amoura was playing with jj in his walker.
"Cmere moura come watch t.v" I told her. She did as told running climbing on the couch to sit down. I put on the cartoons for her then turning jj walker so he could see them too. After they were settled i walked back into the bedroom grabbing bingo some clothes putting them in the bathroom. The water reached a good length so I turned it off. I walked back into the bedroom turning bingo over on his stomach n began massaging his back. Once he was satisfied he went to take his bath while I went to start dinner. I decided to make Fried chicken, Sweet rice n biscuits. 20 min later bingo came out dressed looking a lil better. I knew the bath would relax him. He made his way to the kitchen wrapping his arms around me kissing me.
"Thanx bae u the best" he said before pulling away going to the living room. He pulled jj out his walker before sitting down playing with him.
"Hey lil gurl" he said to amoura whose eyes were glued to the t.v. He started to play with jj as jj began to laugh loudly. I finished up dinner n now we are all seated at the table eating. Jj had a drumstick in his mouth nibbling on it. He was soo cute cuz he barely had any teeth tryna eat big boy food. I only gave amoura some rice. Once we all finished amoura fell asleep on the couch while bingo went to our room to lay down. Now it was jus me and jj up. I was sitting on the floor playing with jj when I heard a knock at the door. I check the peep hole to answer it. It was Sean amoura's dad here to pick her up.
"Sup Sean" I said leading him to where amoura was sleeping.
"Sup veah How u been?" He asked leaning down sliding moura shoes on.
"I've been good" I told him adjusting jj on my hip.
"Dats wassup hey lol man" he said smiling at jj. He gathered all her stuff before walking out to the car. I followed them outside shutting the door behind me. He put amoura in her car seat before sliding her bags in as well. As he was about to pull off he rolled the window down
"Heard my boy was getting out" he asked referring to Jarod.
"Yeah I heard too" I said looking at the ground.
"U ain talk to em?" He asked
"Yeah a few times but he told me they still haven't given him a set date yet" I told him.
" ohh well I hope it's soon I miss ma nigga I kno he will be happy to see lil man" he said nodding his head towards jj who was pulling on my shirt. I smiled down at my baby.
"Yeah ikr" I said. He laughed before pulling off. I waved goodbye before heading in the house to clean up. I took jj a bath before putting him to bed. Once I was done I cleaned up the kitchen then heading towards the room to take a shower. After my shower I climbed into bed by the time my head hit the pillow I was knocked out.
