I'm now a Chef manager, Nicole's a Nurse, Lallaine is now a Flight attendant, Avery is also a chef while Julia is a Doctor.
We are now successful just like what we planned many years ago.
They are my real family. I will always thank God for giving them to me. My life will be so boring and lonely without them.
"Hezekiah, meet your ninangs!" I told him. Hezekiah's brown eyes widened. He looked at the girls behind me.
"Ang cute ni baby boy!" Nicole exclaimed. Nilapitan niya si Hezekiah at kinurot sa pisngi. Hezekiah smiled at her showing his dimples.
Lumapit sa akin si Avery at bumulong. "Kamukhang-kamukha nung tatay niya, girl." She whispered while looking at my son.
"Magulat ka kamukha mo 'yan pero di mo anak." Pamimilosopo ko sa kaniya.
She rolled her eyes at me. "Grabe naman yung galit mo sa akin." She laughed.
"It's been a long time, Shia! I missed you so much!" Lallaine run towards us and hugged me.
"Grabe ka! I hated you when you left us without even saying goodbye, akala ko hindi mo na kami itinuturing na kaibigan."
"Lallaine niyo sad girl na naman!" Nicole laughed and mocked Lallaine.
"Here's my gift for Hezekiah." Lumapit sa akin si Julia at yumakap. Ibinigay niya sa akin ang regalo para kay Hezekiah.
"Punta na tayo sa dining area, nakahanda na ang pagkain at naghihintay na din si manang." I uttered.
"Hezekiah, come here. We will eat na!" I called him. Lumapit siya sa akin at nagpakarga.
We went to the dining area, I saw Manang preparing the food for us. I will forever grateful to have her. I can trade everything for my friends, Manang and Hezekiah.
They are my only family in this world. When everybody left me, they stayed.
"I'm so proud of you, Shia," Julia mumbled beside me.
Julia rarely talks, kung magsasalita man ay sobrang tipid lang at madalas ay tahimik pero kapag siya na ang nagsalita alam mong totoo ang sinasabi niya. She's the most sincere person in our group.
"Since day 1, I already knew that you can do it. I never said this but I want you to know that I am so proud of you." She smiled genuinely. Sobrang saya ng puso ko ngayon.
"Proud din ako sa'yo... Sa ating lahat." Tumingin ako sa kanilang lima. They smiled at me. Nicole was already wiping her tears from her eyes.
"It's been years since we saw each other, I miss this." Avery smiled. "Ako man ang pinakagaga sa ating lahat pero gusto kong malaman niyo na kahit isa sa mga kagaguhan na nagawa ko wala akong pinagsisihan dahil napatawa ko kayo. Mahal na mahal ko kayong apat." She also wiped her tears.
"Huwag nga kayong magpaiyak! Masisira ang make up ko!" Lallaine yelled while wiping her tears that's already building up in her eyes.
"Why are you crying, momma? Are you okay?" Hezekiah asked worriedly when he saw me crying.
"Yes, momma's okay. I love you." I kissed his cheeks. He nodded and continued eating his food.
I opened the wine and I poured it in our glass but before that, we took out our phone and took a picture of it. We posted it on instagram with the caption 'catch up'.
I will always cherish my memories with them.
