(Time skip: 3 months later)

Evie had entered her third trimester and her eighth month of pregnancy. And she was ready to have her baby and hold her daughter in her arms for the first time. Her pregnancy wasn't getting any easier for her either. Her emotions were all out of control, she couldn't put on her shoes by herself anymore, heck she couldn't even see her own feet anymore, her back and feet hurt all the time, and she felt like a huge walrus 24/7.

So on that afternoon, she was just relaxing on the couch watching a Hallmark movie while a bowl of whipped cream was just resting on the top of her stomach, as she ate everything with whipped cream now. But for that time, she was eating it with celery.

And when Henry came home from work, he saw his wife just sitting on the couch, crying her eyes out practically. He smirked as he approached her and kissed her cheek from behind her.

"Hey sweetheart." Evie greeted him through her tears as she kept her eyes on the tv.

"Hey babe. Why are you crying?" He asked as he began massaging her shoulders.

"Oh, Steve just told Rebekah he didn't love her anymore. It's so sad!" She explained to him through her tears.

Henry tried to hold back his laughter, but he just couldn't. And Evie turned her head to look at him, her tears no longer falling as she glared at him. "Are you seriously laughing at me? I can't help that I my emotions are crazy."

"I know, and I'm sorry. I just couldn't stop myself. I'm gonna go take a shower real quick." Henry said before he kissed her on the lips.

"Ok, I'll go start dinner." Evie told him as she turned off the movie and went to the kitchen while Henry went to go take his shower.

Evie started getting out the stuff she would need to make dinner. She decided to go ahead and make pasta, so she put a pot of water on the stove for it to boil, and while she waited for that, she started getting out the rest of the ingredients. She went on to start making her famous sauce, but while she did that she started getting pains from her stomach.

At first, she tried to ignore it but the pain began to increase. She tried telling herself it was nothing as she started chopping up tomatoes. A couple minutes later, Henry came into the kitchen and stood behind her as he wrapped his arms around her waist, and watched her cook.

But all of a sudden, she got a sharper pain in her stomach that made her drop the knife and grab her stomach as she cried in pain. "Ow!" She cried.

"What?! What's wrong? Are you okay?" Henry asked worried about his wife as he grabbed a hold of her.

"I'm having contractions. Give my phone I'm gonna call the doctor." Evie said as Henry handed her, her phone. She wasted no time in calling her doctor.

Hello?

Hi, Dr. Williams, it's Evie Weber. I'm having some pretty strong contractions and I'm starting to get worried that something might be wrong with the baby, or that I'm going into labor

I see, well why don't you come to the hospital and we'll see what's going on. It sounds like you might be going into early labor

Thanks, we'll be there right away

"Ok, Henry go pack the go bag, quick!" Evie yelled.

Henry ran out of the room and went to grab a bag before he started packing a few outfits for him and Evie and also grabbed a couple onesies for the baby and diapers. Then he ran back to the kitchen and over to the pantry where he grabbed a few donuts and put them in the bag.

Evie, who was holding her stomach as she gripped onto the counter and was breathing heavily, looked at Henry with a confused expression on her face. "Why on earth are you packing donuts?!" She asked him.

"I don't know how long we're gonna be there. I don't wanna get hungry while we're there." He told her as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Evie rolled her eyes at him. "Oh! I need to pack deodorant!" Henry said running to the bathroom.

"Why are you packing deodorant now?!" She asked.

"I get bad bo whenever I get nervous." He told her.

"Why are you nervous?! I'm the one that's having this baby." She replied.

"Well, I'm gonna be a dad! That can be pretty terrifying."

"Whatever! Let's just go!" Evie said as they left the house and went out to the car.

Henry drove them to the hospital as fast as he could. Evie was texting in the group chat to let everyone know that she was in labor. And finally, after catching almost every single red light it seemed like, they made it to the hospital, where a nurse led them to a room. They put Evie in a hospital gown and waited for the doctor to come in and check to see how much Evie was dilated.

"Well, it seems that your baby just couldn't wait to meet mommy and daddy." The doctor said as she entered the room. "Alright, let's check to see how dilated you are."

And as she checked, Evie saw the doctor's brow furrow. "What is it? Is something wrong?" She asked.

"Mrs. Weber, you're not in labor. If you were, you'd be dilating which you are not." The doctor said.

"I'm not? But what about the contractions?" She asked.

"It's normal for a woman to experience contractions before she is due to have her baby. But I can assure you, you are not in labor. So you can go home, and just take it easy." Her doctor told her.

Evie got changed back into her clothes, and as she and Henry left the hospital they saw the three vk's in the waiting room. And they ran over to them.

"Evie! Did you have the baby already?" Jay asked.

"No. I'm not even in labor. It was just false labor." Evie told them.

"Well, that's normal, Evie. You only have a few more weeks left to go and then she'll be here." Mal told her.

"Yeah, but I wish she would've come today. I'm so done being pregnant, I'm ready for her to be here already." Evie said rubbing her large stomach.

Mal just gave her a small smile. "I know you are, Evie. But don't worry, she'll be here before you know it. Well, I guess we'll all get going now since no one seems to be having a baby." Mal said before they all walked out of the hospital.

That night, when Evie and Henry were lying in their bed, Evie sighed as she looked down at her stomach. "I feel like I've been pregnant forever. I'm ready to be her mom. I'm ready to be done with being pregnant." Evie told her husband who was laying next to her while resting his hand on her stomach feeling their daughter kick.

"I know you are, Eve. But like Mal said, she'll be here before you know it. You just have to be patient. She'll come when she's ready." He said.

Evie smiled at him as she kissed him. "I love you." She told him as she played with his hair. Henry smiled back at her before he kissed her stomach then the two of them fell asleep.

Do you guys think I should have Evie and Henry name their daughter, Ember like in my other series, or something else. I'm thinking about doing Ember, but I'm not sure. So please let me know what you guys want. Until the next chapter!!!
