Henry and Evie drove as fast as they could across the bridge and back over to Auradon. "Henry, what if we're too late when we find my mom? What if she does something to Ember? I can't lose my baby girl!" Evie said.

Henry held Evie's hand in his own while keeping the other on the wheel as he drove around desperately trying to find the Evil Queen. "Don't worry, Evie. We'll find them, we won't let her get the chance to hurt Ember." He assured her kissing the back of her hand.

Evie smiled at him. She was so lucky to have him by her side. He was her rock, he gave her the strength she needed to be able to keep going even though she was so broken after her daughter was kidnapped by who she was her friend. As they continued to drive, Evie was trying her best to keep an eye out for her mother.

"Where would she go?" She wondered.

"Wait a minute! I think I know where!" Henry yelled. "Your mother wants to take over Auradon, right?" Evie nodded at him unsure of what he was trying to say. "Well, obviously she's going to go to the castle and kick out the royal family so she can take over the kingdom."

Evie's eyes widened as she realized her husband was right. "Well then go faster!" She yelled.

Henry pressed his foot further down on the pedal to make the limo go even faster than it already was. And when they arrived at the castle they jumped out of the limo practically as they ran into the castle as fast as they possibly could. They could see guards running to the throne room, so Henry and Evie glanced at each other before following the guards towards the throne room. And there, sitting on Ben's throne was the Evil Queen herself, smirking evilly at them while holding a screaming Ember in her arms.

"Mom! Give me my baby!" She yelled.

"I don't think so. I've waited twenty-seven years for this and I'm not about to give up anytime soon. You will never hold your baby again!" The Evil Queen told her.

Evie couldn't take the sounds of her screaming baby anymore. She had to do something. She ran straight for her daughter, but her mother used Fairy Godmother's wand, which she had stolen, to hit her chest with a blast of magic causing her to shoot across the room falling against the floor, hard.

"Evie!" Henry yelled rushing over to his wife who he could see was hurt.

"Don't worry about me. Get Ember." Evie told him.

Henry nodded grabbing a shield from one of the guards and started to head towards the Evil Queen. She tried using the wand's magic against him too, but he used the shield to where it was blocking the magic and he continued to approach the Evil Queen and Ember. And when he got close enough, he tried taking the wand away from her, but she held the wand straight down at Ember.

"Make one more move and I will kill her." She threatened.

Henry froze in his place afraid that she would hurt Ember. "Please. Don't hurt her." He begged.

"Back up." She told him. Henry hesitantly moved back, away from the woman. "Good. Now here is how things are going to work. You are going to do everything I say, or else I will-"

She didn't have the chance to finish what she was going to say before a blast of green magic hit her, killing her instantly. Henry rushed over to grab Ember as she was about to fall from the, now dead, woman. He hugged Ember close to him as she began to calm down now that she was safe in her father's arms. He turned around and saw Mal holding her mother's scepter. "You saved Ember's life." He said.

Mal just winked at him. "She was hurting my best friend and her family. I had to do something." She said.

Henry then rushed over to Evie who was still on the floor. "Are you okay?" He asked her.

"For the most part yes, I think I may have broken a couple ribs, but it's nothing I can't handle. Is Ember okay?" She asked. Henry let Evie see Ember who was cuddled up in his embrace now asleep. "My poor baby girl. I'm so glad she's alright." Evie said reaching up to stroke her sleeping daughter's cheek.

"E, we should probably get you to the hospital. Just to make sure you're ribs and the rest of you are fine." Mal said.

Evie nodded as Mal helped her to her feet through her pain. Henry drove them to the hospital real quick and when they got there, the doctor bandaged up Evie's ribcage. Henry and Mal were in the waiting room waiting to hear from the doctor about Evie's condition. And soon they saw the doctor coming down the hallway with Evie by his side. Henry, with Ember still in his arms, went up to kiss her.

"Oh thank goodness! You're okay!" He said.

Evie smiled up at him. "Yeah, I'm gonna be just fine." She told him before she looked at Ember in his arms and picked her up and held her close to her chest. "I was so worried about you, sweetie. I love you so much!"

Mal went up to the little family, and hugged Evie gently as not to hurt her ribcage. "I'm glad to see you're okay Evie. And reunited with your daughter." She said.

Evie smiled at her as she hugged her back. "Yeah, I am too. Thanks Mal, for saving us back there. You didn't save just us though. You saved all of Auradon." She told her.

"Oh it was nothing. I could have done it in my sleep. Your mom is nothing compared to my mom at Ben's coronation." Mal replied as they both laughed a little but Evie winced in pain from her ribcage when she laughed. "You should go home and take it easy, Evie. I'll see you around."

They all then left the hospital, and Henry, Evie, and Ember went back home. Henry helped her up the stairs and into their bed so she could rest. "I love you, Henry. And I love our little family." Evie told him as she fed Ember a bottle.

Henry bent down to kiss his wife. "I love you too, Evie. From now until always." He promised. And that promise he was sure to keep.
