A smile spread across Dick's face as he gazed at the glinting ring on Babs' finger. He had a matching ring on his own left hand. They were simple gold bands, but they meant a lot to Dick since they had once belonged to his own mother and father. He leaned closer to Babs and placed a gentle kiss on her forehead.
Babs leaned her head against Dick's shoulder and sighed contently as she closed her eyes.
Dick smiled down at his wife and their two year old daughter who was asleep in her mother's lap. His gaze shifted down to the baby he held in his own arms, their newborn son. Dick rested his head on top of Babs', letting his eyes drift closed, the contented smile never leaving his face.
No matter what happened, as long as he had his family, Dick's life would always be perfect to him...
