"Minaa!" the young toddler squeals once he sees his older sister walking inside, he ran up to her and hugs her leg. He then feigned a quizzical look when he saw Chaeyoung walking in as well. The two were drenched in rain because a moment ago the rain just suddenly started pouring so they had no choice but to run to the nearest bus station.

Mina crouches down and kisses his cheek lovingly, careful not to wet his clothes as well, all the while Chaeyoung was staring and she can't help but smile sadly at the two. She lifts her eyes and asks.

"So.. you two only live alone?" Mina stood up and slightly nods to her. The little kid clings onto Mina's meg but the latter is quietly telling him not to, quite a playful one.

"Your son is really playful when he's around you, you two looks cute." Chaeyoung admits while looking at the kid and Mina, her heart starting to feel fuzzy, she immediately drops her smile when Mina turns to her and looked at her.

For a moment she thought she was starting to catch that she likes Mina by the way she's smiling goofily at them.

She nervously watches when Mina pulls out her small notebook and pen then wrote, shows it at her.
"He's not my son, he's my brother."

Upon reading that Chaeyoung yelps and apologizes immediately.
"I-I'm very sorry! I thought.. but you two looked so alike!" Mina closes her eyes, if only she could speak she'd probably say, 'Ofcourse, we're siblings.'

Eventhough Mina hasn't retorted to that Chaeyoung cuts in and adds,
"It's just you look.."

Mina squints her eyes and waited for her to finish her line.
"Like a mother?"

Chaeyoung yelped once again and shook her head and hands.
"N-No! I mean! You're sexy, you look really beautiful actually-but the way you're-" Chaeyoung cut herself off when the older one raises her hand and signs her to stop and calm down.

Chaeyoung chuckles once again,
"Y-yeah.."

Mina nods slightly before turning to her brother again, gesturing him to come upstairs with her.

'Just where are their parents? Why is she the only one taking care of him? What exactly happened?' she was pulled out of her own thoughts when Mina turns to her and signals her to wait as she goes to go get themselves a towel, she also took her brother with her upstairs.

Chaeyoung took this chance to roam her eyes around the house. It wasn't that big, in fact it was cute, warm and cozy. Might not have the fancy things that their mansion have but she can feel that Mina have put much effort on making it at least welcoming.

She heard her footsteps so she turns to look her way, seeing her walking up to her holding a towel and some pair of clothes. She took it and smiled at the older girl who looked away with a slight tone of blush on her cheeks.
"Thank you." then Mina gestures her to follow her and she did. She led her to the bathroom and there she took a quick bath and got changed. She walked out and saw that Mina was too already dressed in casual clothes, with a towel on her shoulder as she feeds her little brother. 'She must've taken a bath in the bathroom upstairs.'

She clears her throat as she approaches them. The little kid looks at Chaeyoung and points with his tiny hands.
"Ice cream!" Chaeyoung smiled at that, she hesitatingly sat next to Mina who move away a little to give her some space.

There was a silence until Chaeyoung remembers that Mina can't talk, she mentally slapped herself before she spoke.
"I really thought he was your son.." Chaeyoung chuckles, but deep inside she's relieved thst she's not crushing on a married young lady and that already has a son, she watches Mina took a note and pen on the table and wrote.
