Chapter 9: The Start of The Real Thing

They kept it at that, where Chaeyoung would still visit Mina and Kai at their house, Jeongyeon suspiciouslhy stopped bothering her about it and it's been weeks already. It's 29th of March and it's the time where people are most busy preparing for Holy Week. Chaeyoung as usual bid her parents that she'll meet Dahyun and Tzuyu to which they didn't bother letting her.

Chaeyoung picked Mina and Kai from their house and they went shopping at Lotte Mall. She's carrying Kai in her arms as she starts, pointing at one certain dress.
"Hey, I think you'd look really great in that"

Mina shook her head and gestures.
"No, I don't think so. It's not my type."

"What do you mean it's not your type? Come on you gotta try putting it on!" Chaeyoung held her wrist with her other hand and drags her inside the shop with a cheeky excited smile.

To be honest, Mina likes these kind of dresses. Her mother used to buy her those kind of dresses. It show her natural yet beautiful figure. It's not the flashy type of a dress more like fresh and elegant one. It's white tone makes her skin look even more flawless.

She stared at herself in the mirror, she was slightly startled when Chaeyoung appeared behind, eyes on her fully.

"W-Wow it's.. you look amazing Mina." Chaeyoung honestly said, Mina just silently thanked her while tucking a hair behind her own ear. Then she watched Chaeyoung talk to the woman who is in charge of the store and told her that she'll buy the dress for Mina.

The japanese girl was about to protest but the two have already gone to the counter to pay up.

"You didn't have to buy me these Chaeyoung." Mina starts, Chaeyoung chuckled and took her hand and held them gently, swinging them a bit as she says.

"But I want to, okay? Just let me do these things for you." Mina took glances at Chaeyoung who is carrying Kai and asked.

"Why exactly? Why are you doing this?" Chaeyoung sighed, feeling kinda embarrassed once again. Just why can't she get it?

"It's because I like you. How many times do I have to repeat myself?" Mina avoided her gaze when she looked at her.

"You're really serious about this? You're not joking?" Chaeyoung stopped in her tracks making her stop as well. She faces Mina and gave her hand a squeeze. Mina felt her tummy feel all giddy just by that.

"Why would I joke about something like this? I'm telling you I'm not like them. I'm serious.." Chaeyoung half whined half seriously said that, she looks kinda pissed because Mina keep doubting her feelings.

Mina felt her gaze at her and its making her feel shy, just when she was thinking of a counter to say Chaeyoung starts to walk again making her relieved.

"I'm sorry I was just.. I didn't mean to doubt you Chaeyoung I'm just.." Mina felt it once again, those warm plump lips. Heat rises up to her cheeks as she immediately pulls away from Chaeyoung who looks contented.

"What the heck was that for Son Chaeyoung?!" Chaeyoung just smiled at her and said.

"You were talking too much I had to shut you up, in a sexy way." Chaeyoung said the same line again, but added with something that made her blush harder and look away.

"Why does it always include a kiss Chaeyoung? Are you a kiss addict now?!" Chaeyoung laughed a bit at that and says.

"Well, I wasn't really gonna do that but I keep on seeing your lips, your beautiful sexy li—"

"Okay, stop I get it!" She could only laugh at how cute the older one is when she's flustered. And she's looking forward on teasing her in the future.
