It had been about two and a half weeks now, and Dean was a wreck. He barely ate, he was drinking way more, and he would stay up late then most days he'd sleep through his lessons.

Dean awoke with a sick feeling in his stomach. How could Cas do this? Dean loved him, and losing him made him realise that. Cas didn't seem like the kind of person to cheat, why would he do this?

He opened his eyes and grabbed his alarm clock from his nightstand, the time was 2:26 pm, he could still make it to a couple classes and make football practice then the game later that night. He was barely ever at practice anymore, and it was taking a toll on him. If he lost his spot on the team, he would lose his scholarship and basically his future and dreams. He planned to take over his dad's friend Bobby's car shop after he retires, but if he couldn't get his degree, he wouldn't be able to. He was risking his whole future over this one little thing. But it wasn't little to him, the man he loved kissed another girl, how would he get over that?

He threw his legs over the side of the bed, rubbing at his eyes. He sighed then hoisted himself up, walking to his small closet, picking out a hoodie and some baggy jeans. He dressed himself, and set off.

The class was almost to no benefit; he just sat there in his seat, staring at the wall and thinking. It seemed to be over as soon as it started, and he was caught up in his thoughts.

When it was time for his football practice, he went down to the fields, Benny was there, and he walked over to him.

"Hey Dean, where ya been?" He asked, giving Dean a short once-over. He noticed that Dean had dark purple rings under his eyes, and he didn't look to great in general.

"Huh? Oh, just uh.. I don't know, not been feeling to good lately, it is getting to be flu season after all." Dean lied, and Benny looked disbelieving of his excuse, but nodded his head and carried on. The practice went well, and he was feeling a little better after having gotten some exercise, but his stomach dropped once he saw a familiar face in the stands where some people watched the practice. Dean almost had a hard time recognizing him at first; Castiel's  hair was greasy and messed up, and his usual lively blue eyes faded and pale, just like his skin. Cas have him a sad grin once he noticed Dean watching, and started trudging toward him, but Dean gave him one last glance, and left, acting like he hadn't seen anything.

Agh! I'm sorry that I've been really bad with updating all of my stories lately, but I've been busy, (cleaning and listening to MCR), which isn't a super good excuse, but I promise I have. Anyway, I will get into better habit soon, hope you liked this chapter.
