Dean drove them to that same spot in the mountains, but it wasn't as nice as the previous times; Dean didn't even have another jacket, and the December air was cold and nipped at their skin.

"Look Cas, I'm really sorry about ignoring you, and for being rude to Meg, but-" he paused, looking down at the steering wheel. ".. But what I saw, it was- just so.. it made my heart snap in two, but I know that you didn't do it, so, I'm sorry."

"Hey, Dean, c'mere." Cas said, holding his arms open, and Dean did just that, and he was wrapped in the warm embrace of Castiel's arms. "Look, it's not your fault, and I promise that it won't happen again." He said, his voice was soft and comforting, just barely above a whisper. Dean nodded, giving a sad soft smile, that Cas couldn't even see. Dean then pulled away.

He laughed softly and shook his head, looking down, muttering something to himself. Cas looked at him with a confused stare, cocking his head and squinting.

"What?" Cas asked, still confused.

"It's just, I don't know, I never felt like this before- never felt.. I don't even know honestly, it's confusing as hell, but I do know one thing; I love you Cas, and next time, I'll give you a chance to explain," he concluded, still laughing at himself a bit.

"There won't be a next time," Cas reassured, placing his hand atop Dean's, trying to comfort him a little. "I won't let it." And with that, he leaned over the car seats, and gave him a soft kiss on his cheek, and Dean looked at him as he pulled away, staring at his blue eyes, that still hadn't recovered, and weren't as blue as normal, but he still loved them nonetheless, he loved Cas, and as cliche as it may sound, he wouldn't change a single thing about him.

"I know." Dean gave him a comforting smile, staring straight at Castiel, studying his features.

"I love you Dean."

"I love you too."
