Pagkabalik namin ng Pilipinas ay agad na tinawagan ni Agosto si Callie. Ilang araw na raw itong hinahanap ng bata at nagtatampo na raw. Papunta kami ngayon sa Constancia upang puntahan niya si Callie at ako naman ay para sa personal matter, including talking with Elaine.
I know she's in deep pain for she's not chosen by Zaugustus even if they have kids and she's with Agosto through all his pain and everything. I understand her. It's really sad and painful to lose someone even if they're not yours at the very first start. I don't go through that situation but I understand her.
It really sucks to lose someone, It would give you a void in your heart and it takes time to fill them.
"Celestine!" tawag sa akin ng pamilyar na boses, pagkalingon ko roon ay si Elaine. Ngumiti ako ng pagak sa kanya at umupo sa upuan na kaharap niya.
"Hi! Should we order first?" I asked her and smiles at her. Nagtagal ang tingin niya sa akin.
"You are really nice. I can't compete with you. Alam ko na bakit kaniya mahal na mahal kahit iniwan mo siya noon." ani niya sa akin at ngumiti ng pilit.
Hinayaan ko lamang siya na magsalita.
"I'm really sorry for loving him. I'm really sorry for being a hindrance to your relationship. I'm really sorry for everything that I've done. I was too naive and foolishly in love with him and I think that time that it's all that matters, my love for him." she sobs after saying those words. I handed her my handkerchief.
Ngumiti ako sa kanya ng tanggapin niya iyon.
"You don't need to say sorry for loving him. It was nice to be loved and love him, right? I know that he loves you too but not that love that you want and I'm really glad you respect his decision. Thank you so much for that. Your apologies are already accepted, alright? We are already good. Masaya ako at nagpapasalamat na andyan ka noong mga panahon na wala ako para sa kanya."
"Maraming salamat, Elaine. Hindi ako hihingi ng tawad dahil hindi ako nagsisisi na bibitawan ko siya para sayo o para kanino. I may sound selfish but He's all mine from the very first start and what's mine is mine, to begin with. I don't share my belongings. I hope you respect that." I said and looks at her.
Nakatingin lang siya sa akin at pinapakinggan ako habang sinasabi iyon. I know she will respect and understand that.
"And you don't need to think of this as competition because I want you to win, too. Not to Agosto but to someone he's pertaining to. If you know what I mean." I winked at her and we both laughed.
We are now good, I can feel that.
"Don't tease me!" she laughs, "Callie's birthday next week and she told me multiple times to convince you to come so here." handling me a yellow card.
"Pupunta ako, makakaaasa kayo." ani ko sa kanya at kinuha ang invitation.
