When Tides Collide

-Chapter Nine-

Y/N dosed off and rubs her eyes for a moment. Everything that she just did-it's all gone.Luna,those scared kids, the whole school had just...vanished. All she sees is an army of dragon terrorizing villages.In a distance, she saw herself with Father besides her.Their voice echoes around her clearly.

Father:Y/N...you did a great job on leading the pack.I'm so proud of you.One day, I know that you'll be a great leader...their queen someday.

Y/N:I appreciate your gratitude,Father.Enslaving these creatures is a delightful thing to do after all.

Luna suddenly pops out of nowhere and approaches them while she's tied by a dragon.

Luna:Y/N!How could you do this to me!!!I thought we were best friends!

Y/N:................No.I was never your friend.I used you as a key to your kingdom and look at what you brought me to so...thank you for your cooperation.

Luna:HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME!!!YOU SAID THAT I WAS A SISTER TO YOU...BUT THIS IS WHAT YOU GIVE ME?!

Y/N:Whoa!She blabers a lot,huh?You...just kill her already.I don't want to see her pitiful,ugly face again.
Oh yeah...tell the guards to kill everyone that we've captured after she's dead.

Father:That's my girl.

Y/N saw everything and runs to Luna and shields her when the guards show their fangs.She closes her eyes shut and screamed "No!!!" out loud.Seconds later,she heard something rips off and blood squurting out.She opens her eyes, but nothing happened to her.

Y/N:So...this means...

She turns back and saw Luna's neck is flooded with blood.The dragon clenches hard on her neck and slams her on the ground.Y/N realised that no one can see her.Seeing Luna dead makes her burst into tears and immediately hugs her.

Y/N:I....I'm sorry Luna! I failed to protect you.All that I said to you just now...that's all a lie!You're my best friend...y-you're my sister...my only family that I had...

Y/N who walks besides Father appears next to her and wraps her hand on her shoulder.

"It's all over, Y/N.She's gone-"

"TH...THAT'S NOT ME!!!I WOULDN'T DO THAT TO ANYONE.YOU...YOU'RE A MONSTER!"

"*laughs*.C'mon now snap out of it.I'm you and you're me!There's no big difference between us!we're MONSTERS!"

"NO! I'M NOT YOU. GET OUT OF MY HEAD RUGHT NOW!"

"Yours?or mine?hmm???"

"..."

"face it.You'll never be anything other than a dragon"

"I..."

Luna watches Y/N holding her head for a while and heards her whisper.

Hear this as a background sound. UwU

Y/N:No...help me. Please...I don't want to kill anyone.I don't want to be the queen...I...don't...wanna...kill...*roars*...I...can't...stop...it...*laughs*I will enjoy killing you all-

She's wrapped by Luna's water chains and screaming in pain as the flame on her body starts to wipe out.

Luna:Y/N!You're not yourself!You can't do this!

Y/N:*groans* this IS the real me!!!I know that you hate me...all of you!!!

Luna walks slowly to Y/N and hugs her immediately.

Luna:I never hated you since the day you appear into my life.Wether you're a phoenix or a dragon...You're still my best friend, remember?We support each other, care for each other, even pritect each other.Through the lows and the highs,I will stay by your side. No matter where, no matter what.

Y/N stops.Warm tears shed from her eyes and she continues to cry.Her scales slowly turns back to a phoenix.Luna looks at Y/N and rubs her tear away from her cheeks.

Y/N:*sobs* thanks for sticking by my side after all these years, sis.

Luna:don't mention it.You're my best bud.We should stick together like...like...milk and cheese!

Y/N:*laughs* that doesn't make anu sense.Do you even know what they taste like?I thought you don't even like them.

Luna:Well,I tried once and it was HORRIBLE.At least some things are made of milk and cheese right?So technically...I enjoyed them in my whole life.Okay,let's go home, shall we?

The barrier finally starts to fade away but both of them have a tiny problem.All of the kids run wildly while the teachers start to call the cops.Both Luna and Y/N are like -_-# and they flew back to Y/N's home.

Luna:we can't stay here anymore.We need to vanish from this world.

Y/N:We can but...can we say goodbye to the grassy filed that we went yesterday?I want to tell you everything I know soon.

Luna:sure.I'll come to your house tonight.Then,we fly away.
