Chapter 22: Biggest Gamble

Previously on Kaise Bataye...

"Shivaay...Let's get married..."
She said to Shivaay...
He raised his eyebrows questioningly at her...

"I don't think..."
Shivaay started to say but then something stopped him...

Considering how they hadn't been able to track Daksh, getting to Gauri was also going to be difficult...

He had Khanna to monitor Tia's credit card activities...and once he gets hold of the lesser of the two evils he would get her talking...

So until then stalling was the only option they had now...

"But betta...on short notice..."
Jhanvi said to her...

"Badi ma...I don't want an extravagant over the top wedding...all I have dreamt about is a simple wedding with just close family members...All these rasams and functions are useless if there isn't connection between the two people...."

"I did all these functions when I was getting married to Nikhil...but did that bring us close or even make him stand by my side when I needed him...?no....aur rahi baath muhurat ki...the pandit had said that the muhurat of my wedding with Nikhil was so auspicious that the couple who got married during that muhurat would be together for saath janam...and we didn't even manage to get married..."
She said to Jhanvi and Dadi...

"Rasams and all that mattered to me before...but I have come to realize that none of that will work if there isn't harmony love and respect between the couple...."

"Shivaay and I...inspite of everything that happened between us we thrived...we worked hard at this relationship and came closer...I don't need the any functions or even marriage for that matter...infact in my heart he is my husband even now..."
Annika said to them...

"Ohhhhhhh..."
Junior oberois catcalled at Annika's declaration...while the elders smiled knowingly...

"Annika...we will get married tomorrow..."
He said emotionally, and cupped her face ...

(A/N): A quick recap...
1. Shivaay forced Annika to get married to him and then humiliates her and refuses to accept the marriage...

2. Prinku comes out of coma and Shivaay comes to know about the true face of Daksh...He realizes that Annika was right all along and that he was wrong...

3. But damage was already done...and subsequently Annika leaves her house where she used to live and moves to another street...

4. Shivaay tries to find Annika to apologize to her...and when he finds Annika accepts the apology non challantly and tells him that she was ok...

5. After some time, and some feuds later Shivaay and Annika patch up...

6.Trying to rectify his mistakes he brings back Nikhil...but Annika gets even more angry about Shivaay trying to make decisions for her...

7. He gifts her divorce papers so that she doesn't have to stay in this marriage because she is forced to...He tells her that he wants a second chance to make things right...

8. Everything goes on normally when Tej and Jhanvi arrives...

9.Jealous about Shivaay he teams up with Tia and Daksh to get back at Shivaay...

10. Daksh kidnaps Gauri and blackmail Annika to do things...

11. Shivaay and Annika work together to get to Gauri and to save her...
