Hey friends...

So i have finally completed the second Shivika SS...
Wohooo....💥💥

I had started writing this SS during the redux after the marriage track...
There were a lot of things I wanted to see in the track and decided to write this to soothe my mind...

Annika
I have always felt that Annika in redux was a bit vulnerable...
She was strong but she was never able to stand up against the atyachars against her because the people who were bullying her knew her darkest secret...
Vasundhara Trivedi...

So whenever she tried to stand up she was hit on her head repeatedly with this truth...

"She is just like her mother..."
"Characterless..."
"She will also end up like her mother..."
And all those nasty comments she received...

She couldnt really stand up against them she feared that if she did her sister would also be pulled into this mess...
So she suffered in silence...
Making videos...

She couldn't retaliate as long as the damocles sword of her mother's truth was hanging over her head...

Maybe having abandoned by her mother left a deeper wound on her...which made her want to mould herself to what others wanted off of her...

Her chachi wanted her to toil day and night to keep the roof above her head...and she did that...

Nikhil wanted her to be his World Bank from which he could shamelessly borrow money when needed...and she became that...

Nikhil's parents wanted her to be moulded into heer beta's perfect wife...and she let herself be just that...

All she wanted was to prove to herself and to others that she isn't like her mother...

These where the characteristics that I tried to portray in this story...

Shivaay
I think they maintained Shivaay's character in redux almost the same as that of original IB...family man through and through, fiercely protective of family sister...

He ended up hurting a person who didn't actually deserve to be treated that way....

but he was helpless as well because he was manipulated by the person who he had trusted at that time (Daksh) and
the sufferings of his sister...

Seeing his sister in coma was the deal breaker for him...

It made him lose his sanity and he ended up doing things...

Shivaay was very human in that...he was hurt and he wanted to hurt the person who he thought had caused the hurt...

No special story here this time I think...😀
I think i used this song because it was the song of the redux...?
I kinda forgot why I used it...😁
Maybe it had to do with the longing of these two...

This story is more about how Shivika found their peace after their forced wedding hungama...

I fully concentrated on this story and wrote the last couple of chapters in a stretch, so that I wouldn't get blocked once again...😀

I hope I have done justice to the characters...
