Her voice echoed against the walls of the concert hall, reverbing strongly through the microphone. Together with her backup dancers, she danced in perfect sync to the upbeat song, months of preparation preventing any mistakes from occurring.Tiny beads of sweat rolled down the side of her face as she ended the last song for the night, a roaring applause erupting from the audience.
As she bid the audience goodnight, she took that short moment to actually see her fans. The neon signs, the light sticks, the adoring faces… that’s the only source of motivation left for her.
Ever since she had been scouted at an early age of 13, her music career boomed. Her songs topped the charts, easily becoming bestsellers. And by the time she was 20, she gained the title of “Pop Princess” in her nation, surpassing even the veterans of the field.
But everything came at a cost.
Being pulled away from her home for training and tours, she rarely saw her family and friends. And all of a sudden, everyone wanted to know her. All the people who once ignored her in school were suddenly her ‘best friend’.
She had to constantly go for practices, recordings and tours, which took a huge toll on her studies. Her image required her to maintain a perfect figure, thus preventing her from eating things she like, and having to work out a lot.
Privacy became a luxury. She was constantly trailed by paparazzi and fans, never being able to catch a breather. Leaving her house in a simple oversized shirt, shorts and flip-flops with her face bare of any makeup would become an Internet sensation.
She was absolutely sick of everything. But she had no idea what she would do if she left the industry.
Despite her fame and fortune, at the golden years of her career, she had never felt so lonely and lost in her life.
She was once so passionate about her music. Her voice always filled with emotions as she rocked to the tune of her favorite artist. Now, her singing was a million times better, yes. But her passion was gone. She no longer sang for herself anymore.

Slumping back into the plush couch on the tour bus, she nodded mindlessly at the things her agent was saying, probably telling her how the concert was a huge success and how they needed to prepare for her next album.
“[Name] are you even listening?” A voice jolted her out of her daydreams.
Jumping slightly in her seat, she turned her attention to the impeccably dressed lady before her. “Yeah of course! The next tour will be an even bigger success!”
A satisfied look could be seen on her agent’s visage as she continued to babble on about her schedule in the upcoming months.
‘God, I just want a break…’ She thought bitterly as she stared out at the dimly lit streets outside. It was her last concert of the tour and already she had a schedule planned out for her?
The discontent within her grew and while her agent was facing away from her, going on about a collaboration with another artist, she grabbed her wallet and sneaked out of the tour bus.
Breathing in the cool night air, she put her hands in the pockets of her striped blazer and walked into the town area.

Her boots clicked against the concrete path when she noticed a bar up ahead. Thinking she could use a drink, she stepped into the bar, making a beeline to the bar counter.
